Very good 1st half. Unlucky it wasnt 3 with that Chair BOS Chair break. We let Cardiff get back in to the game, but it was still fairly even 2nd half. I'm far from sure Masterson touched that cross from which the 2nd pen was awarded, so Ball's winner was well deserved imo. Hope Dieng is ok, he looked unwilling to come out for balls he normally comes for after Moore cleaned him out early on, with added pressure put on those in front of him.
Well done Rangers I checked the score last at around the 89th minute so was in a sulk, so only just checking the results is a huge lift! U Rs
Today is my birthday. It started badly in the early hours taking my newborn boy (7 days) to A&E with a very high fever. [He's fine]. I'm not allowed to stay thanks to COVID. My toddler then wakes me up twice in the night. The Government prepares to announce a month long lockdown. Hamilton doesn't qualify on pole. [I could have lived with this one.] At least QPR are winning 2-0 to cheer me up I think as I go to pick up the Mrs and the little ranger. And then we go and do the QPR thing of giving away two soft penalties when we're in control. What a terrible birthday. And then. Can it be? A saviour emerges. Can it be? That 6ft cast off from Rotherham who doesn't even make the first team? Can it be? From there? On that foot? It can be. Glorious. You Rrrrrrr's! Babe at home and well. Toddler happy. Last minute win. Perfect. Birthday saved.
I would like to admit. I loved Dom Ball last season. I love him even more this season. He has found his home
An uplifting performance in many ways (penalties aside) and it was good to see the spirit in the side with the celebrations over the winning goal and at the final whistle. Chair was the stand-out player for his first half display, but there were also good performances from Carroll (who I thought was very good throughout), Cameron and Nico, plus Kane and Ball for their goals of course. I share Oslo's concerns about Dieng not coming for crosses after he'd been roughed up a bit. I hope it was a knock and not a confidence thing.
Happy Birthday Mate. Sounds as though your day ended better than might have been! Congrats on the new baby too!
