In all fairness to Frey, he gets little to no service, we don't play to his strengths but you can't doubt his commitment and work rate. As I've said many times, it doesn't matter who we have up front as they are basically on their own, usually against 3 or 4 defenders. We employ a system with players that just doesn't work.
We seem to bring in foreign strikers who score week in, week out then come unstuck in this league. It’s possible they’re L1 or L2 standard at best.
Absolutely, no news on the official site, which either means the person who updates the site is on holiday, or, and this could be more likely, the situation is so bad, they want to manage the PR and not reveal just how desperate the situation is.
From WLS And, QPR are set for a big personnel boost with Sam Field deemed fit to feature against Cardiff City. The defensive midfielder has been out for the last five games but West London Sport states he will be in contention for a return this weekend. Unfortunately, centre-back Steve Cook has not trained this week and will miss out again due to a foot issue. Striker Michael Frey will also be sidelined once again, limited the Rs options up top. Rayan Kolli has suffered a setback and Zan Celar is still on the comeback trail from his serious hamstring injury. Oh WLS please don't forget Saito is also out . We have got to bring in a youngster (sutton, petrie or dillon), to at least play the last 20 minutes surely.
This is going to be our annual "sh*t ourselves on the run-in" type of game, as it ever was... We're 20/1 to go down, very tempting...
Heavy night. Going to sweat it out in the gym/sauna and spend the day at a Portuguese beach club trying to not think about this **** but knowing from 4:30 I’ll be glued to my phone agonising over it. Good luck to those going. I fear you’re in for a grim one.
Not sure he’ll play. Sub most likely. Concede after half an hour after looking the better of two poor sides until then. Have a lot of the ball while creating next to nothing and just about keeping out a counter and a couple of decent corners after half-time. Concede again on 84 minutes. Spend ten minutes waiting for their goalkeeper to take set pieces.
Giving this one a swerve today. This team has taken up too many of my Saturday afternoons watching the same set up do as what Horny 4 Hamas has just said above.
