Match Preview;
Next on to our final home game of the season, when we will welcome a Burnley side who have already sealed promotion back to the Premier League, but sit in second place, level on points with first placed Leeds United, so desperate not to drop any points as that could rob them of the title. They have a goal difference of +46, which is 14 goals below Leeds' +60 goal difference, so their only hope of grabbing top spot is by winning their last two, and hoping Leeds drop points either at home to Bristol City on Monday night, or away at Plymouth.

As for us, job done, nothing other than pride to play for, and although I want to see us win as many as possible, I know some have mixed feelings about Leeds, so may or may not have mixed feelings about this game. I'd love to see us go out on a high, particularly as we need another three points to equal last year's tally of 56, and obviously anymore than that will be a sign we are progressing, albeit not by much!

Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll make it to HQ for one last match this season, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

End of season review/wake/celebration (as in ‘thank God that’s over’) in the Defector’s Weld post match for anyone who’s interested.

I’d love to see us score a goal (or even six) against Thunderbird puppet Parker’s defence is all monstrosity.

We've not won at home since Valentine's Day ( Feb 14th ) v Derby 4-0. Shocking! Five games without a win.

However bad it is now, I enjoyed that one having been at Pride Dark and took the abuse from the Rams fans about us being bottom and going down as well as from relatives here in Derby, to see them where they are is sweet joy <party><party><party>

Must say I’m unusually struggling for a crap 90s/00s mutual player I’ve not done before. To my great shame I thought we’d signed George Kulscar from them rather than Bradford.

At a family thing. Will hopefully catch the start and end and might just start crying at 2:20 knowing I’ll never see Jimmy Dunne again.
 
Villa fans going direct to Wembley on the Chiltern Line now. They’ll arrive at 10:30 ish. Kick off isn’t until 17:15.

Saw one at Brighton at 7:30 this morning. Doubt I’d have slept so would probably be there by now too just in case 27 consecutive trains were cancelled.
