Crikey. That's two assists in one week! He'll be scoring next. <laugh>

The result was the right result in the end.

I do think we matched them and definitely had the better chances to win it.
What Kolli was doing, his shot nearly hit us...and we were st the top of the loft. Smyth was running well, he should of just slid it to Smyth like Dembele didto Yang MH on Wednesday.

The back 4 played well with some excellent blocks and an incredible tackle from I think Dunne.

Varane and Colback were good...we just missed someone with a killer pass.

50 points we should be safe.
Will be surprised if we get to 56 though.

Bearing in mind we were rock bottom in November. I will take it...thank you very much

Really disappointing. We got it absolutely right for the first 20 minutes - playing City at their own game with an excellent high press and accurate passing - but then totally surrendered the initiative for the rest of the match. Luckily City were pretty toothless despite their dominance thereafter but the turnaround is hard to explain. Lack of fitness? Lack of belief? There are no great players in the City side just a 90 minute commitment to a system which we lack. Is Cifuentes up to any more than this I wonder?

Happy enough for a point at a time……keeps separating us further from the zone.

First 30 minutes yesterday we played some of the best football I've seen from us in a long time and with many back up players. Some great quick, direct, forward passing through them. Marti said that was how he wanted us to play. Not surprisingly with that pace and some players who have not played so much 1st team football lately, we couldn't keep it going and Bristol played some good stuff too. But we hung in there and could of won it if Ashby, Yang and Kolli had finished better. I really hope Marti stays and we have some continuity. QPR have changed out too, many good Managers for too long, Warnock, Warburton, I hope we aren't going to repeat those errors with Marti.

Looking at our starting 11 for the last two games I thought we didn’t have a chance.
For me Marti is doing well with what he has to work with. Next season will also be a massive challenge unless we get Eze money. We’re going to lose so many players at the end of the season and I’d like to see Marti as the one to take us into next season.
