Well...2 games unbeaten, but where are the goals going to come from? Chair maybe, but surely we need to get someone in January?
Clean sheet and a point is better than our usual home fair. Early days but I can see baby roots of improvement. Should have been 3 points, but ref had a shocker, but more importantly no defeat in two
I actually didnt think we looked too bad today, but its a cliche....got to score to win a game. Worrying points gap starting to apppear so have to get those clogs in gear soon...
Well both Rotherham and Wednesday caned and Hull nicked it against Huddersfield so we are a point closer to safety
After a year of complete **** at home that was a definite improvement though some way to go. Draw fair, we might have sneaked a 1-0, 3 weeks ago we would have lost by 2.
I am very pleased with what I watched. Yeah, we didn't win or score, but we will pick up points regularly playing like that. I think Cif made a mistake, he should have put Sinclair on the right wing instead of Smyth when he had to come off. Their left back would have got slaughtered and probably sent off. ****ing ref: PENALTY!!!!!
Obviously would have loved the win but even with the draw, this is a massive step (sort of) forward because actually it just takes us back to playing as we did under Warburton before the Ainsworth experiment. A few thoughts from me: 1. I don't think anyone had a real shocker with the possible exception of Richards who squandered two reasonable chances. Dozzell mixed but not terrible. 2. Cook was immense, possibly MOTM. 3. 20 min spell half way through second half when I was convinced we'd score. 4. From my view, looked like a pen on SA but will wait for highlights. 5. They are top half with 22 points and I think we matched them well enough which gives me hope for the future. 6. Smyth had a good game. 7. Willock. Improving and maybe confidence returning. 8. I'd have liked to see Armstrong on earlier as Dykes was not doing that well. 9. El Cif taking a lap before the game was classy and appreciated by the fans. 10. HQ packed to the rafters with good support. Onwards to Norwich away and a further two whole weeks of the El Cif effect.
