Match Preview;
After a disappointing result against Bournemouth, we find ourselves 7th having won 3, drawn 3 and lost 1. Our opponents on Saturday, Bristol City, are 5 places and 3 points behind us, having won 2, drawn 3 and lost 2 so far. Their top scorer is Andreas Weimann who has 4 goals this season, same as our top scorer, Rob Dickie of all people. Our second highest scorer is Lyndon Dykes, with 3 goals...their second highest scorer is Chris Martin, with 2 goals. Martin also scored for Derby County in the 2014 playoff semi-final. If I remember correctly, he also blocked a shot at goal from a Derby player in the final, shortly before Bobby Zamora scored that goal. I know it was seven years ago now, and I need to move on...but it is hard.
A win for us could see us back in the playoffs, and I know it is still very early in the season, but a win for City should see them move into the top half, where they will be hoping to stay, as opposed to being dragged to the lower end of the table. They have drawn their last two, against Luton and Preston, so will be eager to get some points.
Not sure what the latest is on Austin after his knock and family loss, or Dykes, but I'll add team news as and when it goes on the official, and as always add what you know below...and...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
