    Match Preview;
Bristol City suffered their first loss in five games on Saturday, as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Reading. The result sees them fall behind Reading and Watford, down to 5th. Their top scorers both have 4 goals so far this year, Paterson and of course, Nahki Wells. As for us, it was good to see Lyndon Dykes score from open play on Friday night, and we played some good football, and so the defeat was disappointing.

Looking at the table, I am not going to let myself get sucked into any false hope that a few wins could move us up the table, because I don't think it will happen. However, we do need to get some wins on the board as soon as possible to avoid getting dragged anywhere near a relegation scrap. Obviously we will be without Kane on Tuesday night, after his red card on Friday. As far as I can see, either Cameron or Kakay will have to replace Kane, or we'll have to set up differently...any ideas what Warburton will go with...suggestions below.

I'll add team news if/when it goes on the official.

I'll be watching on QPR+, as will most others...so enjoy and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!

Looking at their bench against Reading they’ve certainly got more depth than we do but they’ve gone off the boil a bit and aren’t particularly high scorers even with their 86 strikers.

That fat oaf Chris Martin (not that one) will probably play. Not noticed Wells playing much at all. Bloke has rinsed them for a lot of dough.

Some of our players were barely running by the end of Friday so our XI is anyone’s guess. Warburton doesn’t seem to fancy Bettache but I’d throw him in with Cameron if he’s fit and have Ball/Carroll on the bench. Kakay is in by default and I expect he’ll give Wallace a game.

Could well be the same start 11 with Kakay for Cane, and maybe Cameron for Ball if they are all fit.

At some time soon, I'd like to see him go 3 5 2 with something like Masterson replacing Nico to fit into a back 3 with Dickie and Barbet, Kakay (or Albert) and BOS the wing backs, Willock roaming in front of Cameron and Carroll in midfield, with Chair playing in a 2 with Dykes, playing off him as he has started to do a bit, with some success. Don't know if Bristol are the right team or not to try this against, but if we can play this way as well, it would make us less predictable and give the opposition a bit more to worry about.

    Results since 15/16 season.....

DWWLDLLLDLL that last draw was league cup last season which we won on penalties, other than that it's a pretty dismal record.....time for another W.

Not one to remember if you’re old enough to remember actual wins but the 2-2 there on the first day of the season where we equalised right at the end after they’d scored on the stroke of 90 was good fun.

A year or two later schlepping down there alone for a midweek game to see us lose 1-0 and Leigertwood miss a sitter at the end not so much.

    Well done Dave.
I watched Bristol v Fakes on Saturday and they look very dodgy at the back. Although I think the score flattered the Fakes they still have a good unit.

This a Red button game? Probably should stream it anyway to help with the club coffers.

Bristol City is one of those clubs that I have no opinion about whatsoever.

Hope we beat them into the ground anyway.

I will never forget going to Bristol away when Flavio came over to the away end. Before the game we went in a local pub packed with Bristol fans drinking cider. My mate said don't advertise that we were QPR. I went over to the bar and shouted ”4 pints of larger guv” and literally the whole pub went silent. I continued without realising how loud I was saying ”relax the carrot crunchers can't tell”. <yikes>

No Cameron again. Maybe his hip has gone.

De Silva on the bench is a new one to me.
