Match Preview;
Bristol City come to Loftus Road on Saturday after three straight wins...and three wins and three loses in their last six. This leaves them sitting 6th in the table, with their top scorer, Weimann on 8 goals. We now sit in 14th with four loses and two wins in our last six, and I it'll be a slightly different set up for the rest of the season. Our top scorer this year, Wells, left was recalled by his parent club, Burnley, on Monday and signed a three and a half year contract yesterday with, yep, you guessed it, Bristol City
Leinstner, Wells and Scowen have all left the club in the past week or so, and Geoff Cameron is suspended after too many yellows, so we'll see a slightly different set up on Saturday. My head tells me that we will miss Wells a lot, and miss Leinstner and his presence at the back, and miss Scowen as a good back up. Disappointed to see them go to be honest. My heart tells me that these three leaving are going to open up spots in the starting 11 for BOS, Eze, Hugill, Ball, Hall, and Masterson to get some regular starts, and benefit from some continuity in the starting 11. I know, I am wildly optimisitic.
Enjoy those who are going...give Wells a clap/jeer/boo...whatever you feel like...and...
COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
