Match Preview;
Bristol City come to Loftus Road on Saturday after three straight wins...and three wins and three loses in their last six. This leaves them sitting 6th in the table, with their top scorer, Weimann on 8 goals. We now sit in 14th with four loses and two wins in our last six, and I it'll be a slightly different set up for the rest of the season. Our top scorer this year, Wells, left was recalled by his parent club, Burnley, on Monday and signed a three and a half year contract yesterday with, yep, you guessed it, Bristol City :headbang:.

Leinstner, Wells and Scowen have all left the club in the past week or so, and Geoff Cameron is suspended after too many yellows, so we'll see a slightly different set up on Saturday. My head tells me that we will miss Wells a lot, and miss Leinstner and his presence at the back, and miss Scowen as a good back up. Disappointed to see them go to be honest. My heart tells me that these three leaving are going to open up spots in the starting 11 for BOS, Eze, Hugill, Ball, Hall, and Masterson to get some regular starts, and benefit from some continuity in the starting 11. I know, I am wildly optimisitic.

Enjoy those who are going...give Wells a clap/jeer/boo...whatever you feel like...and...

COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Would like him to try Manning and Ball in midfield for a bit of bite. Sick of seeing us babysit Amos to have one good game in four.

Manning gives the ball away far too much to play centre mid.
Left midfield, left in a midfield three or left wing back for me.

None of those positions exist in our formation though and Amos has been pitiful recently.

Left of a three behind a forward then Mr pedantic.
I know we don't play 4-3-3.
Manning likes a tackle but doesn't have the skill set to play in the centre imo.

I’m struggling to see much of a skill set from Amos after 25 games in what should be his ideal role.

I agree.
He has ability imo, although he does look like a centre mid, he seems to lack the courage or confidence to receive the ball in tight areas or play an adventurous ball forward.

If we're playing a two in there I'd play Cameron and Ball, as our options are seriously reduced.
I expect tinkerman to continue dropping Eze deeper!!
