Match Preview;
Still seems a bit too early to tell much about how this season is going to work out, given we've only had four games, but none the less our opponents on Saturday have started well, and are lying in 3rd, level with Swansea on 10 points and 2 points off joint leaders Bristol City and Reading. Their top scorer, Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld, has 2 goals already, as Bournemouth look for an immediate return to the top flight after relegation last season. Rumours are that Josh King, who has played 161 games and scored 48 goals for Bournemouth in the last 5 years, is about to join West Ham...a deal I hope won't be done by Saturday, just to slightly unsettle them. Who knows if that really makes a difference or not?
As for us, pleasing to see that we have agreed a deal with Southend United for teenage striker Charlie Kelman. He looks a very good, young prospect and a good signing. Having now won only one of our first four games, we still sit just outside the playoffs, thanks to two draws...and a few wins could put us in a good position to have a solid season. I'll add team news when it is on the official...enjoy those who will be watching and...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
