Have to say it was a bit surreal watching on the stream last night as it was running 2 or 3 minutes behind, but there was a constant stream of messages from our Whatsapp group giving updates as they were watching in almost real time, so I knew in advance all the main happenings and didn't get the spontaneous euphoric moments of the goals and the calling out "GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL" swiftly followed by Mrs Trammers telling me to be quiet!!!!!!...... still small price to pay......

The crowd seemed to play a major part yesterday. In the first half, the Blackpool fans were brilliant and our lot were quiet, but it all changed in the second half. Someone seemed to have nicked their drummer's sticks, rendering the Blackpool fans rhythmless and voiceless, and our crowd, sensing a backs-to-the wall battle, really got behind the team. The noise when we scored the winner, from not many more than 11,000 Rs fans, was incredible.

I still can't believe we won that game. That was a pure Bobby Zamora moment. They looked like the only team winning the three points and then Moses Odubajo ( Only three days old when I got married) played the ball through to George Thomas who then created the chance for Luke Amos to win the game on his birthday, in the last minute.. Incredible. I'm still grinning. I still can't believe we scored, Beth, Roller, Terry B etc were all hugging each other. It was a great night.

In retrospect it was a great night, in reality it was painful. Watching your team battle with ten men for sixty minutes was gruelling. A bit like the play-off final. Only to sore in the last minute ...

I thought it was painful throughout the first 89 minutes. What a finish, though. What a noise!

I picked a good game to come back to HQ after two years, W12 was v quiet beforehand so I knew it would be a small crowd. The atmosphere especially second half was very good though.
