Match Preview;

Blackpool currently sit 15th on 42 points. Their top scorer is Shayne Lavery on 9 goals. They've drawn 3 lost 1 and won 1 of their last 5...but that includes an impressive point at Craven Cottage at the end of January. The 'played for both' joke has been done before, but it must be noted that Richard Keogh plays for them having joined on a free last July.

As for us, Wednesday night, under the lights, in front of a rocking Kiyan Prince, we'll be hoping for an improvement after 4 league games without a win. Team news and manager comments to go up asap but here's hoping for a good result, not least of all because I'm about to board a Eurostar for three days, 'to visit my parents with my kids'. Had a choice of this week or next, and as luck would have it, chose this week...after looking at the fixtures.

Team News:
QPR: Jordan Archer will miss out for the R’s, whilst Sam McCallum is edging closer to a return from injury, but Rob Dickie will continue to miss out through suspension.

Blackpool: James Husband could return, whilst Reece James, Richard Keogh and Keshi Anderson remain out

Pre-match talk:
Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “This will be an extremely hard test - look at some of their recent performances.

“How they didn't get something out of their game against Bournemouth recently, I don't know.

“They’re a good, high energy team who are organised and have good physicality.

“We know what we face.”

COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Each game looking a bit tougher and because of recent results and still harder games to come, even more must win.

Blimey games coming thick and fast. Another tough one but they won’t have the crowd behind them this time.

Will we ? Attendances not been great for most of the season at home, strange really. Away from home we seem to sell out our allocations regularly. Is it down to pricing, games on TV or are people just bothering not to go ? I'd personally like to have got to more games than I have but just haven't been able to physically go. We really need a win badly even if its a flukey one, I'd personally take a point if the performance was a good one. We really haven't played well for 90 minutes for a long time.

I suspect covid has played a part in ticket sales.

I prefer away games tbh. And Covid hasn't helped.

Our pricing can be shocking for the one off visitor. Ninesy was quoted £42 for a ticket for the West Brom Game I think, whereas it was £15 to see us at Brum away.

Don’t know what the attendance was on Saturday, but it was noticeably quieter than recently, even the pub was much emptier beforehand. Could have been weather and transport disruption related. Plus, and I’ll probably be damned for this, I think we do have a fickle fan base, a few bad results and we can’t be bothered. I include myself in this, I’ve been whole seasons without going. Not recently though.
