With the exception of Sanderson's brain fart, it's the sort of first half we needed, they haven't threatened and not even an attempt on goal from them....... they were set up to contain and frustrate, so now they are going to have to come out and attack a bit more which will hopefully leave space fo Ilias and Willock to exploit....

C'mon Rangers......

Replays on the stream.

It was a red 100%. Not a Duncan Ferguson special, more an attempted tap, right in front of the ref, and to be fair the Blackpool player didn’t make a meal of it, didn’t even go down. He was booked, it was a late challenge, but not two footed/studs up or anything. Pathetic response from Sanderson, who had been looking ok.

Very odd game. They have made no chances, we seem to be trying route one, sending off hasn’t changed anything yet.

It almost certainly will though.
They've pressed us very high and well.
We were struggling to get out, but were starting to play well, had the lead and then Mr ****ing brain dead did his thing.

Hendrick looks good.

No head-butt, although he should know better than jump up aggressively and grab the player and put his head near his face. Watching the tackle again, I thought that was a red, He went in hard from the side without being anywhere near the ball.
Massive 45 left!

The tackle wasn't a red.

The reaction was, all day every day.

Bit extreme !!!
I didn’t see a butt, just a forward motion to stick his face in their players face !!! no contact on their player, ref overreacted to be honest and fell for the Blackpool players faux outrage however that doesn’t make Sanderson exempt from being stupid to do it in the first place.

Come on!
That's a red, every single time.
He moved his head into their player's face.
To be fair, I don't think he made a meal of it.

I've never seen anything other than a red given for that.

I'm in the upper loft looking down the left hand side, where the incident happened. It was down the other end, and it was a bad tackle, but with a reaction like that only one outcome.

Only hope is that they look pretty poor so far, but potentially a long 45 minutes ahead.

They’ll chuck Madine on I’m sure. Always seems a handful. Fancy us to grind it out. Famous last words.

Sanderson had tackled him v hard twice just beforehand. Got to take it if you give it out. Stupid boy.

From what I saw of the toss-up, Stef won the toss and elected to change ends or elected to take the kick-off and allow Blackpool to change ends. A change to try to win the first half?

That has counted as a head butt in football for a long time now, you don’t need the full on Kirby kiss to get a red! Surely all players know that moving your head towards another players bonce is a no no. He grabbed him by the shoulders too, not sure if that counts as raised hands or something.

Just ****ing stupid, but as far as I can see on a quick search he hasn’t got a record of daft behaviour.

The Dominator gives us a bit more stability in the middle....... Bigger workload for Chair and possibly gets both Hendrick and Steff further forward
