Trying to think of who Edwards reminds me off with the ball at his feet........ Ladies & Gents I give you Glenn Roeder......
Didn't see tonight's game, but the descriptions of Edwards carrying the ball out of defence made me think of Roeder, too.
A massive effort from the whole team to get that win. Plenty of fight from our lot.
Loved watching Frey after the game, part of what seems to be a really good team spirit. Now let’s get Jimmy to sign a new contract.

That was great game with both teams going for it. I think we deserved the three points especially after the first half performance. Edwards was class. It's a shame he won't be ours.
Great news. Made my train from Shebu by forcing the doors open at the last second. Two young Blackburn fans then missed the connecting train they ran for by two seconds and now we’re all on the one I strolled to ten minutes later.
Played very well after the equaliser when you felt it would be all them and us clinging on. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable performance. Edwards the standout for me but Nardi made at least one really excellent save, Frey won more than his fair share again plus of course the goal.

We played some decent football and so did they.
Edwards was a class above everyone else on the pitch...but our whole team played well. Chair is rediscovering his mojo, Smyth puts in a real shift. Nardi some important saves.

I thought the ref James Linington had a good game tonight. Best refereeing performance I've seen for a while. He let the game flow and wasn't over fussy and a complete control freak.
Comes from the Isle of Wight. My mate's son and a good ref. Been on the circuit for a few years now
