Nobody said it would be easy. Luckily, results look like keeping everything the same. Just got to somehow stay up.
They are truly a f*cking horrible side to play against, all niggly ****ty fouls and off the ball crap
Totally lost after chair went off, so few options...you'll always have poor performers, just absolutely no one to replace them with and an awful lot of bad luck. Worrying thing is the lack of any bounce back today, same players playing poorly. Kakay and Johansen did well
New manager, but unfortunately the same result. As already mentioned, I think this is reality check for Gareth and the enormity of the task with these “talented players”. Rome was not built in a day and I wish him well, but it would be good to get a win or two relatively soon!
that’s exactly it try and stay up it will very close but confidence can return at any time especially in our defending If we stay up then fantastic but if we slip we slip together
Where are those that said we were too good to get dragged into a relegation fight 10 or so games ago? I wonder what they think now. We are in trouble, big time. Doesn't matter who the manager is.
I don't think I've ever seen a group of footballers so mentally broken as these. Everyone in full panic, just kick it and hope mode. It was always going to be hard with this group and particularly with the injuries we have but how on earth is he going to stop the rot? Maybe the injuries are going to force some youngsters into the team or Richards to finally get some time. Dozzell playing in am advanced role is not good. We played ok at times and you could tell the team were up for it but they crumble far too easily. You cant exist playing ok in very short spells and just giving goals away for fun. I genuinely think we are a very unlucky team as well though, we never get those lucky deflections, loose balls rarely fall kindly for us. Relegation fight it is then, it's a shame our team don't have a lot of fight in them.
I think GA said some team building was lined up. Hopefully some white water rafting and naked Twister will have them back to winning ways in no time.
