On a positive note, we’re coming first in the second half of the table…

Apart from the goal and the shot cleared off line half way through injury time ( and subsequent block)...did we make anything else.
No.

I am on the G and Ts
Back here about Tuesday
It was a disaster of a game Beth!

Think if memory serves we’ve dropped points to every team in the bottom half now except Leicester and Swansea. Good opportunity to complete the set.

Hard to adequately describe how ridiculously bad we were today.

Then to the pub to watch us lose to the ****ing sweaties!

I have been following the progress of the Blades. Pre Wilder's return they were cut adrift and sinking fast. Cue Wilder's appointment and now they are only 2 points off us with a better GD

It's the manager who has had that effect. Now surely they will fly past us and no doubt grab a play-off spot

Madsen will be our biggest loss as we were totally clueless without him.
Burrell next
CBs have been great recently but were terrible today
We now have 5 first choice defenders. Make a decision and stick to it for at least 70 minutes of every game.
When our keeper came rushing out at no point did I think he was going to save either of the first two.

Bennie and Kolli (are pretty enough on the ball with space and time) but just don’t want it enough compared to Vale, Smith and Saito.(who yes all have flaws). They never win their personal battles.

Kone started well and is a bit odd. His first touch is ok but his second touch is terrible and knocks it 6 ft away.

Bad day (after 20 minutes) move on and see the cheese not the holes in the season.
If Madsen is out I can see us sliding down the table before players come back, we regroup and end the season 3 or 4 points off 6th place.

Need a new keeper. The effect on Man Utd of replacing Onana was immediate

442 please. We all like it

Openly admitting my bias, as a defender my greatest role was ensuring everyone knew that everything was the midfielders fault.

But our midfield is poor.

I'm sure Vale has a position but I'm yet to find it. Standing in between the lone striker and midfield line contributes nothing. Interestingly Kolli adopted the same position as soon as he came on so I suspect it was a managerial decision to waste an outfielder player.

Saito's touch was poor, Bennie was light, they both however wanted the ball so get some credit.

The pitch doesn't help the dribblers but doesn't stop any other team from playing progressive balls forward, why we need 8 touches each and 6 passes between 3 players before attempting a cross is beyond me.

I now have no idea of most players favoured position let alone best starting line-up.

They’ve got a squad which should be top six at an absolute minimum. The old manager was just a disaster.

When we’re fifteenth next season it’ll show how ridiculous a missed opportunity this one was. If we got to 70 points and just missed out it wouldn’t be so bad but we’ll stumble to the low 60s and some ****e like Wrexham will get sixth with 68.

Morishita set up their striker for 1-0 with the best pass I have seen this season. He scored too. I see he’s ahead of Saito in the Japanese national set up and I can see why. Saito scored but also lost the ball for their second and was out muscled too many times on 50/50s. It’s not just Saito. We need to upgrade our midfield generally to challenge for the top six.

We'll be lucky to finish 15th this season if we play like yesterday, 50 points is still our main target as it always is...

If we had all our players back then we would be challenging the top 6 but so decimated with injuries, The results & way we are playing at present we have little choice but to accept it, bench is made up of kids so subs is not the answer & compare our bench earlier in season

That’s fair Jeff but yesterdays outcome is still probably the most disappointing result of the season for me. We had hold of the game but threw it away with stupid defensive errors (by first choice players) and poor finishing up front.

Does anyone know where the majority of the injuries occurred (Home/Away)?

Just wondering how many can be linked to the potato field in Loftus Road?

From the list of injuries I've seen, I think I've seen most occur at home.

Agree we did have hold of the game as Blackburn done nothing & concede silly goals & always before & after HT, 2nd created nothing
