Dykes gets an awful lot of stick, some justified but some not so. Frey is much worse if you ask me. Armstrong second half.
Ffs we have to win this, chances coming and being missed. Brum will almost certainly get 1 good chance and **** us. Time for Armstrong to come on and run them ragged, Sheffield winning and Stoke drawing at Hull, not good. We simply can't not take 3 points from this game. Come on u rrrr's
Not very good really, but two or three could/should have been scored. Sincs on before too much longer!
I think the Dykes of a year or two ago was better. The Dykes of this season or at least since this manager took over might as well not be there most of the time. Frey is being dealt with comfortably though by Sanderson. I’m sure he’ll give Armstrong half an hour.
I really can't blame Frey in this. We are putting on a lone hitman but playing a style that has nothing to do with a lone hitman. It's got to be Armstrong every game now, unless we change tact.
I actually don't know why we're play Field in such an advanced position, making runs out wide, etc. I actually think Dykes would do well in that advanced midfield role, like he did while back. Or Hodge there. I love Field. But if we've put Hayden on, there's no place for him, imo.
According to Mr Beale we've been much the better side, but not taking any of our chances. Don't like the way this is heading.
Anderson not having the best of games I'd get him off and get Smyth on and put Willock inside where Anderson was playing. Also take Frey off and get Armstrong on. We could do with some pace.
Just home and done with work, I see Armstrong coming on and Colback down injured. Given the number of posts on this thread since kick-off, fair to say not the most exciting of games?
