Where to begin with that one? There was a nervousness around the ground, or at least on 3 sides before kick off. Immediately, we were on the back foot, over-run in midfield and out muscled in every department. And then an early goal against. Where we've looked so comfortable in possession recently, it wasn't there tonight. If the 442 line up was supposed to be an attempt at a more attacking line up, it failed miserably. As good as faulin and grenaro have been, they are basically the same player. There was such an obvious lack of a tough ball winner in the middle to do the hard work and allow them to work the magic. This has to be diakite's role, surely. Park was anonymous, but was that not because the ball never went left? However, a left winger he certainly is not.

I thought Zamora played the hold up role well, but cisse just wants to score crackers, nowhere near enough contribution from him elsewhere.

I've not been a Hughes basher until now, but taraabt, hoilett and diakite on the bench, what the ****. Taraabt came on and made it happen, both with the ball and without it. When in possession, he orchestrated the movement of others and he was right every time. Did you see that visionary pass to put cisse in? A captains performance.

I could go on and on, but in summary, we needed to go 2 down and for the clock to be ticking to muster any sort of enthusiasm or urgency. That was a ****ing bad loss tonight. Big let down. Bollocks.

I was there and it was worst than shocking...the first half was inept, brain-dead, boring and predictable.

H e seemed to start the second half with the same players playing 4-5-1 again inept, brain-dead, boring and predictable.

Then the double substitution (his third tactical change) and we clicked.... and we would have drawn but for the oh so predictable Diakite sending off, the lad needs time to be able to time his tackles right.....just like last year

You all know I am a strong Sparky supporter...(still wearing his Barca shirt) but this lack of tactical ability really worries me. Getting beat so badly by Wet Ham who play route 1 footy is unacceptable. If I can see what is need from about 15 minutes in...why does it take him 58 minutes to make the change

But unfortunately for us the Hammers (and Mark Hughes) had other ideas..........

    Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
    Came down upon her head.
    Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that she was dead.

Well, watch the second half of it on fox this morning ............ thought we'd played alright. Simple fact is some days the goals go in, others .......... like today, we didn't have the rub of the green.
There were a number of good shots on goal in the second half which on another day, would have found there mark.

Same old story, when times are tough, nothing seems to go your way ............. As I've said before, if we can only get that first win asap, we'll come good.

You've probably worn it more times than he did. If memory serves, he was a big disappointment there too.

I hope you're right, DT. All this recent talk of keeping the faith, as we're playing lovely stuff brings to mind that old Harry Enfield sketch (for some reason)...

Normally not one to go straight for the Mangers throat but I'm afraid the blame sits clearly in MH's laps. I know we are injury hit but the original setup was poor. Agian really slow to re-act to what was happening on the pitch.

I said before the game only MH could lose it for us and he did. Only bright side is we can see what formation is going to suit us going forward.

    Good one
I watched it in a pub and had to keep reminding my second son even on his birthday that you can't sub people after 5 mins as he was calling for that!
There was a massive nervousness to this game and we started very poorly
The exact joy when Adel scored was a reminder of what glory feels like
The Irons fans in the pub were very good and when you get other fans saying that QPR will be fine and we at times looked a class above them then you know that we are going to be fine

Every bad view all ready commented on here ... A sick bag.

I do not believe anyone would want to keep changing if truth be known
It's all hot air and we all must learn to grow at the right pace and in the right way... My son saw that at the end and so will others when the taste of defeat is flushed the system.

It's gone forget about it and release
We move on we grow .

Also many calls for posters to think before a post re the swords thing

I question what is the difference ?
I reacted badly last time ... Not this time ... It's autumn England's best season IMO

    Keep backing your team lads
    First away win this weekend

This would be my line-up. If we could bring in Dawson at the back, that would be an excellent team.
