SWP has to shoulder most of the blame for missing that chance. You've just got to take those ones at this standard.
WBA looked stronger the last couple of minutes but in the I am a little disappointed with the result as we once more again dominated most of the game. We will have to get the points from Liverpool and ManU then.
pissed off with the lino disallowing SWP's goal, but then we really let them back into it by missing a whole host of opportunities. disappointing, and it makes the next two games look even more daunting, liverpool away and united at home. how much will we rue not holding out for three points today come the new year i wonder?
which one swords? when traore cut it back? to be fair to SWP it came at him at about chest height and i personally thought he did well just to get a decent connection, all be it inaccurate. i think barton's was a worse miss. the positives out of today were that we still got another point, and with the exception of blackburn-swansea which i would have preferred to be a draw, all the results went our way. we're still 6 points clear of the relegation zone with the same games played as the bottom 3.
still sore about us beating you hammersmithblue? would have thought you'd have been happy enough with your own result today not bother chipping in with a pointless jibe against us, but clearly not. bit childish really.
Disappointing that we should have won comfortably but Norwich, Swansea, Bolton and Wigan all lost so it's not the end of the world. We need to win when we're the better side, like all teams, and that's 3 points dropped in two games now, but if you'd offered me 4 points from Stoke, Norwich and today I'd have taken it.
I've come home from this one very disappointed, it almost feels like a defeat. This match was very reminiscent to the Blackburn game in terms of performance, atmosphere and the result. Every time Cerny booted the ball long, he kept slicing it to the left, where the dwarfesque swp was. After 5 or 6 times you'd think he would of adjusted it so it did go somewhere towards Helguson. Or, how about rolling it on the ground and playing a bit of football on the deck from the back. Far too much hoof ball for my liking today. The team looked dis-jointed and lacked cohesion. What with too many missed chances, the writing was there on the wall, as to what was going to happen. At 1-0 we all waited for Neil to change it, when he eventually did, it had a catastrophic result.
Warnock cost us the points by bringing on Buzz up front. A ludicrous decision and he seemed clueless as to how to change things when WBA were completely in control for the 2nd half. Taarabt is obviously never going to be played again, as the last 20mins today cried out for him. Buzz was terrible!!

Yes, and he seems to be a nice bloke supporting the wrong team. I am proud of our team, the good support and a little disappointed not getting the 3 points that we deserved.
