Trying to be positive, their first goal should have been a free kick to us and a yellow to their scorer, second goal was our central defenders not being awake and the third one was possibly down to Bachman staying on his line Baah's second goal was not a foul and he was unlucky when he hit the post BUT poor overall from us and points squandered We need a powerful centre half with some pace alongside Pollock, a powerful central midfielder to win the ball and start the next attack AND a forward who would not miss the two chances Bayo wasted today, apart from that all is okayish
How many transfer windows have we been saying this for? Never happens and I don’t see it changing in this one either!!
Hi chaps. Duggie will confirm I’m an amiable and fair judge. I watch Watford quite a bit having grown up nearby and was at your game at Burnley the other week. Clearly you’ve got a few very useful players. It comes across as a mentally weak group to me. A lot of whinging at each other, the ref, the opposition. I think Chakvetadze (not bothering to google how to spell it) is a super player but when I’ve seen him play through the middle he gets crowded out as he was today. Bachmann always looks like someone’s dad filling in for a Sunday league team to me. I can see why my Watford mates hate him.
Our main problem is we gave away another early goal giving the opposition a leg up and then again at 2-1 moments after scoring just when you wanted to get some momentum and put pressure on QPR. Ws cannot build ourselves into the games and put ourselves in tricky positions .
