Shame that we changed our tactics 2nd half.

not sure why as we had a real threat in the first.

We had several chances in the first half that were not taken that probably changed the shape of the game. If we had taken just one of those QPR could well have felt it was a long way back. Just the one goal and no side believes they are beaten. Looked to me that some of our travellers were a bit off the pace. I still do not rate Gray.

Yes - trouble was a lack of service to Deeney or Sarr so we had no outlet and the midfield got caught out.

We also saw what having no out and out full backs does as they got down the wings well.

I doubt anyone does but thought he offered a lot more for you than Deeney who really didn’t look arsed at all and I’d guess is half a stone heavier than last season.

Was an entertaining game though by this league’s dismal standards. Bit gutted we didn’t win it but would’ve certainly taken the point beforehand.

He's actually more like half a stone lighter than last season. But yes - making those subs when he did was completely illogical, unnecessary and so out of character for Vlad. Gray had played better than he usually does and Pedro had done nothing to deserve being subbed off. I guess Vlad had one eye on the heavy fixture list between now and the end of the year.

Certainly impacted not our attacking threat.

Credit to QPR maybe but we looked totally lost 2nd half.

We missed 3 simple chances before HT. A bit like last season, except that this year we get punished less. Pedro’s pass for Sarr’s miss was sublime-he’s our Messi in my opinion . That said , Joao was quiet. Capoue is a class above most other players at this level, but the Championship rewards non stop triers, not quite EC’s thing. Still, staying out of the limelight might be useful.
2 wins next and we are 2 points a game.
    What’s not to like !

But still 5th despite not being at our best so can only get better.

I notice we are going to arbitration for Ngakia, I wonder whether that is having any impact on us playing him? Not wanting a big transfer fee.
Maybe we will go to 4 at the back with Kiko moving over to the left was the price for Ngakia is agreed.

Three Four Three worked for us because Femenia and Sema are attacking midfielders not defenders
Three Five Two just does not work without Deeney and Vydra or Deeney and Ighalo and Deeney is not the player he was
Deeney Sarr and Pedro or Pericia Sarr and Pedro is what we need to cause defences problems
Four Three Three could be good as well as long as we have the right combination in defence

Well we made a bit thing about getting him - now have we decided he isn't really that good or worth what West Ham want?

Also Garner came in with a fan fare and is in and out like a yo yo.

I think the main problem is we keep changing the team each time and having so many different combinations - particularly away from home which maybe explains our pretty average form.

    No consistency or continuity.

I wasn't one of those expecting us to win the league by miles or even win games each week but I think that has been the main disappointment.

At home we are pretty good but on the road 5 points and I think 3 goals isn't great.

We probably did better away in the Lewington/Dyche/Malky era!

Mind you as pointed out above we are still 5th...

It's a bit like Parler on the wobby comments section. Vast majority are right numpties.
Yeah, so it isn't great at the moment but I'm convinced we're going to give someone a right tonking sooner rather than later. Not tomorrow though.

If there is a release of what we could’ve done, but haven’t, someone’s gonna get hit for 20. ;)
