Just back! Phew, what a relief. That performance was a world away from last sunday. And I still don't everyone's up to 100% match fitness yet, so there should be more to come.

    Looked great- my MOTM !

I think the formation change was forced upon us rather than through choice, but I think the way the 4-3-3 worked out it gives Rednapp options. But let's be honest, if you play with that level of commitment and don't give the ball away you could play any formation and win, that's all that was missing last week. I'd imagine when Vargas gets clearance we still might try 3-5-2? But as long as they carry on with that level of work rate and belief we will be fine.

Hoilett was the most improved for me today, top performace. Fer was fantastic and Isla looked like he was finding his feet and looked like his crosses will be very dangerous. Positives all over the pitch today, a top performance. Let's hope we're another team that go on to embarrass United.

Good point. How many times has Warnock signed him? Followed him all round the country, bit like some players have followed Harry.....

They have all gone quite from the Hull site.
Made me chuckle they think losing Remy and we are fu***d and won't get 11 points, well only 8 more to get and thanks for letting us have Charlie.

Yeah, fair enough. I only really saw the last 22 mins or do when it looked like Hoilett was playing slightly behind Zamora, with Barton, Fer, Phillips and Mutch sitting deeper, but this was probably to hold onto the lead.

Thought today's performance showed great fighting spirit and we deserved the win. Thought Fer looked class. Agree with the 'positives all over the pitch' comment

Breathlessly exciting game. A deserved win though rather tense at the end. Most incredibly, there was not one player that you can say had a bad game. Fantastic!

Harry detractors will have a quiet week and I'm looking forward to Man U away.

Post #130, Col...not that I could give a fig really about the difference between 451 and 4411 (haughty sniff).

There isn't much difference between those but there is between 4-4-1-1 and 4-3-3 although they both become 4-5-1 without the ball.

    Hope that helps.

I saw the second half and was hugely impressed. Everyone looked good on the ball, there was a good shape without it and continued pressing with energetic performances.

I give a lot of credit to Arry and his staff for turning it around.

We were competitive and that's what I want most. From this, though, I think we can get better if we get more belief.

We need to take this into the United game and, as mentioned by the commentators in the Burnley game, not show them too much respect.

Well done everyone (crowd included). I will now assume the crash position with my fingers in my ears until Tuesday morning.

Second half we actually gave the ball away far too much. They were camped in our half for nearly all of it.
There was great effort and commitment though which was great to see.
