Yes two wins and a draw from those four and we will all be feeling a lot more confident! We were brilliant at times today.
Well done Southampton. I knew you would beat us today although I thought it would 1-2. Weve got a **** team with one or two exceptions and an even worst manager
About ****ing time. Just got back from 3 weeks in the US, and the way results have been going, I'm surprised some of you fellas haven't offed yourselves.
Very magnanimous of you I sympathise with you guys regarding Hughes, your squad on paper is much better than this so it's hard to see who else to blame really.
Agree PTF. No spirit is very worrying if you are a Hoops fan. Even when we were losing badly the spirit always seemed good!
Chin up mate. Not gonna preach to you about your team or manager, that's not my place but keep the faith, there's a long way to go yet and regardless of who's managing the club you're not doomed by any means.
It's only a shame if you believe that we're going to be tussling with them come season end. I think we'll be looking lower mid table if we carry on playing like that... Vin
Gutted to have missed this match due to work, by the sounds of things we deserved our win today, really looking forward to watching the match later. Haven't felt this happy all season!
So it seems the BBC claimed this was widley dubbed 'El Sackico'. Firstly, that is a crap name for the game and I have not heard it called that anywhere. Oh and thirdly, Adkins wasn't going to get sacked if we lost those. Hughes on the other hand....
Weekly dose of Adkinisms - http://audioboo.fm/boos/1064643-sai...-bigadamsport-after-his-side-s-victory-at-qpr
The name was mentioned to Adkins in his pre-match press conference, he seemed to find it amusing. His answer was that both managers will still be in their jobs whatever the result. I think he might be right.
That's credit to NA and a huge reason for sticking with him. In terms of man-management, he's pretty much as good as it gets and we need that to pull through bad spells.
They also claimed that the Saints v Pompey derby was widely claimed to be El Classicoast. As far as I'm concerned they can keep their widely claimed names to themselves. This was no sacking game anymore than Saints v Pompey derby can be claimed to resemble any second rate Spanish one.
I am absolutely made up with our result today and my 6 year old son (who correctly predicted the score) and I were bouncing around our living room while we listened to the game on the radio. I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to every one of those 3,000 fans that out sung the whole of loftus road throughout the duration of the game. You were OUTSTANDING! COYS!
