999's It may be time that you again stay overnight in the teams's hotel! I get the impression that you may see a bit more unity than on your visit to Leicester. It was great to see how all the crowd (including the Rotherham faithful) paid homage to Stan. We go back to the standing days to see so many in attendance at 2.45! So, we conceded two. So what? This was what supporting Rangers is all about. Good company, being entertained & a day away from home full of enjoyment. if we manage that two ot three times more this season I will be very happy!
Looking at that great control from Charlie on his chest for the third, before the defence opened up like the Red Sea before him and the keeper decided to turn the other cheek as well. Ale unlucky for their first, he lost the ball very close to their area, we were undone because Konchesky was out of position.
Thanks for posting the goals Stan, first time I've seen them. As others have said, it does appear we have our rangers back! Must keep hold of Charlie of we can.
Thanks for posting the goals Sylvio. First time I've seen them too. Ours looked very good. The last Rotherham one from the corner looked like we'd gone to sleep in the sun.
Dreadful defending for both of their goals and Green should have been more alert for their first. Austin looked pleased enough when he scored but then I haven't seen the whole game so cannot comment too much. Our goals were nice though! Cheers.
Not sure he looked that pleased and not exactly surrounded by team mates celebrating! Thought it was very muted!
Seriously is there a better way to spend Saturday afternoon? Great company, good beer, fine football, fecking hot. ...must do it again soon. Cheers all.
"The legendary Stan Bowles in action from QPR's 1975-76 season which saw them finish as runners-up to Liverpool. Near the end of the video Emlyn Hughes is also seen talking about the money situation when Don Revie took over as England manager. At the end are Bowles comments regarding Hughes and Revie. There are two further videos at the link (above) on the web site plus an interview recorded for Radio Nottingham in 2004 when Bowles talked about his year at Forest and his relationship with Clough, Taylor and his Forest team mates."
