What is impressive about Pukki is his poise around the box. He doesn't snatch at shots. His clever handling of the ball before crossing for Cantwell's shot shows his ability to wrong foot defenders to make space for a shot or a cross. He's carried on from his three goals in pre-season to score for club and country in six straight matches. What a signing that was!
I am also impressed by the fact that he seems to have a permanent smile on his face. Love it.

That Wally with the Brolly (McClaren) claimed Pukki's goal wasn't a proper goal??? (and he was once the England manager?) Those grapes must have been very sour

I don't get why they do (not from 1968, surely ffs) but I'm really starting to love how much they hate us now! :1980_boogie_down:

We fell out a few seasons ago when they had Colin in charge, notwithstanding the fact we beat them at the end of the 1975-76 season thus handing the title to Liverpool :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I was at Carrow Road that Easter Saturday in '76, remember it as a good day out apart from the result, still reckon Boyer was in a different postcode from the ground when he scored your 3rd, not sure what the linesman was on, perhaps the sun was in his eyes!!!!!!

Think the fallout in Warnock's time was due to Faulingate and the number of Norwich fans who were wishing we'd be handed a huge points deduction from it so that you'd be champions instead of us......

Have to say ours was a bloody strange performance last Saturday, the polar opposite of how we played against Millwall during the week, it's as if McClaren set us up as the away side to just contain you and counter attack, the problem being you just passed the ball around under no real pressure so we couldn't counter even if we wanted to. Think the penalty incident was a penalty but not surprised it wasn't seen by ref given the number of bodies around the ball at the time.......

You seem to be building a decent young side and should be around the Play Off places come May, but have to say that was a bloody awful kit you were wearing, what was the thinking behind it? Almost on a par with Coventry's chocolate brown kit from the mid 70's.........

Good luck.

Like GE I was at that match. Great attacking side with MacDougall and Boyer up front and Martin Peters behind them. QPR had a final chance to win it with a point blank shot which Kevin Keelan repelled with his chest. I suppose QPR fans expected him to step aside so they could win the title. <laugh>
