Hanging on at times especially when silva and aguero get space around the box.....other times we look fairly comfortable...... How many times has granero given the ball away....lost count......adel looks really up for it........just need to be a bit more confident on the ball and going forward and we could nick a goal....
I'm watching without the commentary - it's not too bad, actually. On edge of my sit most of the half. They're great on the ball but we're showing great endeavor and resilience. Adel doing well - can see him getting a pass through for Remy second half. COYRs!
A not so subtle message from HR imo. Rather have two keepers on the bench than some of the other misfits. Least a draw at half time is something to build on.
City player move so much with and without the ball, that they make themselves playable all the time. Their passing quality is also lightyear better than us. Of course thats why they are 2nd and we are 20th. However we have chance in this match. We have be just a bit more ambitious when we go forward and Granero have to wake up because theres only so much Taarabt can do by himself on the midfield.
This is one of those weeks when those that say don't worry what other teams are doing are wrong....in my opinion. We don't look like winning so Wigan and Villa losing (atm) and hopefully Man Utd and Chelsea beating Southampton and Reading respectively would mean we hold the gap...or even gain a point if we hold out. Better than being a possible 8 points behind.
From someone on the beeb. "Why is Harry Redknapp so fixated on bringing more strikers to QPR when they play 10 behind the ball at home?" Fair point. But it's the champions. Be worried if we play like this v norwich.
Did you say that last season when you played Blackburn at home? A likely win but over confidence will often bite you on the arse when you least expect it.
Really hope so. Sissoko is running the show for newc and it's his first game. Boy we need a quality midfielder.
no need to worry, the thing is we played a reserve team out that day whereas we'll play our strong team tomorrow night.
