I guess if you have decided against a player it is impossible to see the positives. He's just had the best pass today releasing Traore, and the only midfielder trying to make things happen. Take off your blinker mate. And there he goes on and scores! Take that baby
It counts as one but had bugger all chance of going in. It shouldnt really even count as a shot...well that was undeserved, somehow bobbled into the corner. Lets see if that jolts some life into them.
You're contradicting yourself again, you're saying it's not a dig at the players but then abuse both. My point stands. It doesn't matter who plays upfront they're being starved of service. By the way it's nothing to do with being Irish. Doyle WAS a very good player. He's still plenty good enough at this level of he's given the service. Ohh is that Jenas that just scored. Might want to edit some of your previous posts flyer, you wouldn't want to look stupid now would you
Did anybody else notice that we looked a much different team when we played our game, but with much more pace, urgency and tempo in the last 10-15 minutes of the first half. When we started moving the ball quickly, one touch, pass and move, Leeds were the team struggling to cope. More of this in the second half and we could win this convincingly. Yes, really.
What, making a joke about his shooting? Doyle may have been a good player but hes **** now, Jenas has been awful but popped a goal in, it doesnt mean hes any good. Calling a player **** or awful is not abusing them, calling them a ****er or a prick is.
Correct. We could have gone in 2-1. Leeds have gone off their "boil". Think they were set on a 1 - 0 win - were only attacking on the counter 2nd part of that half. But until the last 7 miutes we were terrible. I think Jenas is OK.
Bollocks. I've not decided against him based on a dire half an hour and I'm not going to change my mind based on a good 10 minutes. For years the guy has stolen a living. For 90 minutes at Charlton he hid from the ball and never once gave Carroll an option.
From 40th minute we looked good. Great 7 mins and goal from Jenas. 67% possession and we should be in a much stronger position.
f**k. We were just about to set off for the game...realised it's an early kickoff. How've rangers been looking?
Clive Allen, BBC Radio 5 live at Loftus Road HALF-TIME - QPR 1-1 Leeds "Leeds maybe stepped off the gas a little bit and now all the pressure is coming from QPR. They've changed to a 4-4-2 and it has totally changed the game." Didn't get that, are Morrison playing up front with Doyle? We suddenly looked a lot better when Hoilett and Traore switched sides. Whatever we played from the off didn't work, hopefully a toe to toe 4-4-2 sees us out on top.
A few half time observations: No way on God's green earth did we start the game in a 5-3-2 formation as Sky had us. They had Hoilett up front with Doyle, Morrison on the right and Henry on the left!! We lined up 4-2-3-1........Hoilett was on the right (except when he swapped with Traore) and Morrison was in the centre. Then, laughingly, the clueless commentators tried to suggest that it was our "change of formation" away from 3 at the back that led to the goal. My God, what do they pay these buffoons!! Jenas has always been a technically gifted player, but has been mainly disappointing for us. However, today he has at least tried to make things happen and his finish was superb. Dunne is a carthorse who's lack of pace is constantly being exposed by McCormack. Hughes is a very, very poor RB. Play him at CB or not at all. Morrison is trying to make things happen but looks low on confidence. Good penalty save from Green. Jammy deflection for their goal and it wasn't a free kick anyway! Hoilett and Traore look dangerous When we play it quickly we look so much better. Henry must start every game. Overall, we've been poor, but hopefully that goal will lift us.
I stand by comments too and Jenas was maybe our best/least worst player at Charlton and today he has been by far our best player. Only negative was his ridicoulus free kick.
