Team News​

QPR midfielder Joey Barton misses the match as he completes his two-game suspension.
Striker Andrew Johnson (ankle) is a doubt while Matty Phillips (ankle), Charlie Austin (shoulder), and Danny Simpson (back) remain sidelined.
Leeds could give a debut to striker Connor Wickham, who joined the club on loan from Sunderland.
Goalkeeper Jack Butland, on loan from Stoke, is expected to continue in place of the injured Paddy Kenny (ankle).

Head-to-Head
• QPR won the earlier meeting 1-0 at Elland Road in August - their only win in the last 10 meetings.
• Leeds are unbeaten in the last five meetings at Loftus Road, winning three. QPR's last home win was 3-2 in the Premier League in November 1994.

• QPR have not won any of their last four games, losing the last three. Their last win was 2-1 against Bolton at home on 28 January.

The Ref​

In this fixture we see the return of one of R's favourite ref's to Loftus Road, Sir Chris Foy from St.Helens on Merseyside.
He was of course the man in the middle on the day (23rd October 2011) when we beat Chelsea at home 1-0 when he sent off both Bosingwa and Drogba.

He will be assisted by David Bryan (Lincolnshire) and Scott Ledger (South Yorkshire.) The Fourth Official will be Iain Williamson.

Me too. It was last weeks starting Xl. This is the side and squad from the reverse fixture.......

QPR XI: Green; Simpson, Onuoha, Dunne, Hill, SWP, Barton, Henry, O’Neil, Johnson, Austin.

Subs: Murphy; Suk-Young, Jenas, Hoilett, Zamora, Faurlin, Shariff.
 
An early kick off, yet another televised game, which generally doesn't bode well for us. Here's hoping though.

I see this match is featured on Bet365 livestream which later also covers Burnley v Derby and Notts Forest v Wigan.

If all else fails there is always AC Milan v Juventus to fall back on for Sunday entertainment along with the League Cup Final at Wembley (Man City v Sunderland).
 
The performance on Saturday was as gutless and pedestrian as anything under Hughes. Jenas has as much impact on the game as I do and makes Carroll look bad through his sheer cowardice to not show for a pass- ever. Can't see us winning- can't really see us drawing.
 
Carrol and Jenas in the centre of the park, and that's the best we can do ???????

That pretty much reflects my feelings at the moment too mate. It's very rare that I don't look forward to going to the game, but that is sadly the case for me as regarding tomorrow. I wouldn't mind so much if we played with some intensity, rhythm, passion, and penetration and were creating decent chances but we're not. As you say it is gutless. It seems like they're just going through the motions. Every team we seem to play want's it a lot more than us and are prepared to work a lot harder than we do.

I certainly hope we can step it up and impose ourselves on Leeds for this game, even though there is no evidence to support this. I won't be happy if I come away from LR tomorrow and we've continued to play in the same manner.

I've committed to tickets for Birmingham and Brighton away already but won't be paying £30+ tomorrow for a game at such a ridiculous kick-off time. If it was 3pm then I'm sure I'd drag myself along but **** paying to watch pissing Jenas jog around the centre circle when I don't have to.

Scares me too. I wanted Caroll and Jenas as defensive midfield before the Charlton game, and though I didn't think were too bad, it feels like we need someone tougher for Leeds. Suppose it has to be Henry in there. Wish there was a better alternative, but I can't think of one. I'd like to see Kransjar start instead of one of Hoillett and Traore in an attacking midfield 3 with Morrison. Should give us more near their goal than we had at the Valley.

I do agree with that line-up mate, I just went for the same side that started last week as I felt we needed some consistency. Harry chops and changes it every game and no matter who he puts out there, it still remains the same old **** regardless of the personnel. The same could be said of the formation too. This must mean that it's the players mindsets or willingness to try which is lacking, in which case we're fooked.

Just had a look at your results for your last 8 games. Not good, and we're as nearly as bad.

P8 W1 D2 L5 F8 A14 Pts 5 Sequence = LLLDWLLD

I wouldn't worry mate, you're due another win and we seem to be the gift that keeps on giving. Of course I hope not, but this Rangers side doesn't fill me with confidence at the moment. It should be a feast of football for the neutral Sky viewer.

While we can allow ourselves to be blinkered due to the Chelsea result Lala, we must also remember that it was Foy that allowed the goal v West Brom against us last season that should of been disallowed.
