Well in an ideal world the likes of Cannon, and Longman wouldn't be on the park, but given the state of our bench there's only really Woods who could come on that could potentially change things here, too many of our lads having off nights.

Definitely not our night tonight. I’ll take it staying at 3 at this point. We’re acquiring a reputation for being utter dross at the back so far. The midfield without Seri and Tufan is woeful. Cannon wouldn’t make the bench if we had a fully-fit squad.

Bit of a given regarding Cannon. Was shipped out last year as he couldn't make the squad.

It’s the fact we’re not sitting with 10 men behind the ball at all times. But our midfield isn’t good enough to keep possession so we’re under constant pressure.
We should of just parked the bus from the start like we used to and hope for a lucky goal.

Shota got too confident with recent results and tried to play normal football with a insufficient squad and we got punished

need our injured back

Well, yeah, he’s not very good. Even Pompey fans were baffled a Championship club signed him as they considered him mid-table League 1 standard at best. He was only signed due to the embargo.

Individual errors have cost the goals, Jones and Cannon having a nightmare. We needed to take one of the chances we had at 2-0 when we had some pressure but wasn't to be. We have a wafer-thin squad at present due to injury, we just have to put this one down to experience and try and at last not get totally stuffed in the 2nd half.

Our midfield is good enough to keep possession, the way we set up gives us no space to work with. There's a reason possession based teams have such high lines, it means there is always a huge amount of space behind to drop in to and take the ball if theres no other passes on. We don't have that safety measure and so when players that are not so technically gifted get the ball and cant see an obvious pass, they panic as they don't have confidence in someone else creating space behind them.
