Once you’ve added them up add that total to our current total. Take those we’ve lost off those we lost them to & then place us in the table where our new points total determines we should be. Quite easy really, not much thinking needed,
Yes, but... every other fan supporting a mid table team can doubtless do the same thing. It's all ifs buts and maybes - we are about where we deserve to be. We were pretty lucky to get 3 points today, another day we could easily have lost that comfortably. Still, very nice to win late and ugly!
To be fair we are too inconsistent to be serious promotion contenders and likewise relegation threatened ... however with the right sort of investment in January we could well sneak into the play offs .. dependent on whom we lose of course. We are a conundrum
Then let Hull City be non-serious contender. 3 points below the promotion zone looks like impossible gap quest.
Tbh there isnt any stand out teams .. we have played the so called top ones in the division and either beat them or gave them a good game .. that isnt the problem with us .. we throw away points against teams we are expected to beat .. hence my suggestion we are too I consistent .. from what I have seen it ain't a great league so pisses me off even more knowing if we had kept the more decent players from last season then we would probably be up there. Edit - I should also have added with a modicum of investment in the right areas too !
We’ll need at least 13 wins & a draw or two from our last 21 games to have a serious chance of making the play-offs. A big ask.
Barking up the wrong tree. Couldn't give a nack where you are and never asked olm to check. Protesting like you are makes people doubt you I expect. And why do you feel the need to tell anyone? Superiority seeping out?
You replied to a post were I said I was from Cottingham. Hardly exotic. Haven't you been there? I left there in 1977. Can't I be nostalgic about growing up in Cottingham without you butting in?
i've never liked the lone striker method. it was crap under phil brown and it's not going to get better under anyone else. putting bowen there just feels like we're nullifying our main goal threat. the hdm reckons city fans wanted to drop bowen for the qpr game. can't we do something else with bowler instead?
