AND on a yellow AND took the ball cleanly AND looked assured AND has a very useful long torpedo pass..
Get in there! Safe journey to all those that have travelled down there - but that's a big 3 points. Also... what was with that prick who scored's hair?!
I read a stat today that shocked me! We have had the most shots of any team in the championship!!! Although our shots on target is shocking!! Still think that result just papers over the cracks but it was an essential win. Also if his intention was to always bring on diomande then why not straight swap him for Hernandez? And I agree with previous posts that say if we were playing a better team then taking your striker off and leaving no one up front is asking for the opposition to pile the pressure on! FFS it got us relegated last season with dropped points. But again vital 3 points but not particularly convincing
It was mentioned somewhere last week that we'd had the most shots. When I looked into it, the only place I could find stats was on Whoscored.com, which said Reading had had slightly more. Funnily enough, according to them we DID have the most shots on target! Reading's accuracy percentage was much lower.
A bit harsh I think blaming Maguire for their goal - a 6'5'' freak is gonna win more than his fair share of headers in the box, Odubajo was more at fault for not getting close enough to Phillips to stop the ball going into the box .......... he had a good game other than that though.
Never - a well worked goal at speed after they turned over one of our attacks. Can't really fault anyone.
Okay ignore the goal then, in the 5 minutes we played without a striker they had less possession and no meaningful attacks how do you interpret that to them getting the impetus?
Their goal was a thing of beauty to be honest. Our second was a dogs ****ing dinner, but they both count the same so its all good
It was a well worked goal not denying that but you need to watch it again if you think he wasn't out of position.
