Hard to create anything when we cant keep the ball for more than 2 passes.
Hope Snodgrass isnt too bad either.

One reason why you don't sell your best striker days before the start of the season, without a replacement, regardless of the fee. Jelavić is so isolated he may as well be on a different ****ing continent.

You can see how much we need another striker. It is bare up top, and Jela is struggling to hold it up.

Robertson looks a bit special though.

    Jela is stranded up top.

    Ince isn't in the game.

    Elmo is too deep.

Midfield need to get more control in midfield. It's probably down to it being too congested with two 3-5-2's set up against each other. At times, there's a lot of players in the centre of the pitch.

We've lost our defensive shape a few times.

Should have had a penalty. There's wasn't. Great tackle by Davies there.

    Robertson is an exciting prospect.

    Can still see us scoring.

Ferdinand doesn't do anything in their defence. Caulker/Dunne seem to do all the work, then he occasionally kicks the ball away. He seems very immobile.

Traore doesn't look interested in defending; Elmo ran past him easily a few times; need to expose that.

    Austin looks out his depth.

    Remy is warming up.

    Mutch looks good.

    Why wasn't Dunne booked?

Noticed when the ball breaks a few times, it seems to keep going to them. Luck or better positioning?

Other than that, we're playing well :p

Robertson has been the best player on the pitch for us

Agreed. Proper forward needed not attacking midfield who may do a job.

I know. As if Craig Pawson didn't give Jelavic that blatant penalty.

Glaringly obvious that we need better up top. Nothing can get through to jela because he has 3 centre halves on him!

its a given you had the first half , we have some real game changers and strategie tweaks as we can bring on Rosie Brady or Aluko

we have a pretty good bench now for a plan B

We haven't had the 'run-of-the-ball' but we look hellishly rusty to me. Ince is way out of his depth in this game and QPR aren't that good a side. Bruce is running hot and cold. Elmo is being well held so our attack is non existent on the right. Hate 'backward football' and this is Australian A League standard. Things can surely only improve in the second half.

Was thinking the exact same thing as you posted that. 3 on 1, it's never easy.

Meanwhile, QPR have Remy (a distance better than any other player on the pitch) and Austin to keep our 3 busy.

Another tough half to come I think.

That was a definite pen but jelly throwing himself round and looking at the ref didn't help. He shoulda learned. More from Shane long!!!
