What precisely do the Toffees have to complain about? Pienaar could have gone for the previous challenge and if he'd stayed on would no doubt have gone a few moments - his tackling was awful. This was a case where slo- mo actualy distorted what had clearly happened and which we could all see at full speed. Another mistimed tackle. From behind. Which put Bosingwa off his stroke. That is a foul and given the fact that he was already on a final warning, You could see why the ref felt he had to go. The penalty might have been given but ours was actually much clearer. Howard wasted 5 minutes searching for his ball marker every time he had to kick and got no yellow card to punish him. As for MH and his substitutions/game plan/failure to win etc etc - give the guy a break. We played very well but for a horrendous lapse at the free kick and a couple of moments of sheer panic at subsequent set pieces. That is surely down to the players not the manager. Play like that and we will win soon enough. Park had his best game to date. He did drop SWP and Ferdinand and played Taarabt, Hoilett, Diakite and Granero together with the result that we created good flowing moves and a few good chances. Please give it a rest. We're not going to get anything at The Emirates next week. Even if we hit the woodwork a few times and end up giving the gooners the fright of their lives, some of you will begin threads about Mark Hughes needing to go and Harry Redknapp or some other expensive media darling being installed BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. A few weeks ago I said we only had 32 games left. Now that's 30 which even I can work out is still 90 points to play for. We are in no worse a position. In fact, we look much better now than we did then. Plenty of time yet.
Last thing I want to do is gloat, you know me lads by now, but I just thought that this following article is an interesting ecaluation ... an educated an intelligent look at the situation. The Sport Review QPR 1 Everton 1: Lessons learned as Hoopsâ wait for first win continues http://www.thesportreview.com/tsr/2012/10/qpr-1-everton-1-lessons Don't know about you, but a fair bit of gloom on RR today, people are already starting to mention (for the first time) how long Zingarevich's patience will last before the manager McDermott starts to be openly questioned for possible failures of making good enough signings in the summer ... hope, like yourselves, that it's only transitional at the moment
A lot of unwarranted critism coming from a couple of posters regarding the manager and Park. Change the record ffs and i wouldent rule out something next wk just yet. Totally pi**ed off with all this Hughes out stuff. He,s staying put so give it a rest!!!
Frustrating yet again sums up my afternoon at Loftus Road. We looked good for most of the game, I'm still a nervous wreck whenever we concede a free kick near our box or a corner though. Or when Diakite gets a yellow card. Thought Granero was outstanding today, Hoilett fairly good, Taarabt was ok but can do alot more. Diakite was great too and I thought M'Bia had a solid game aswell. Didn't think much of Park today in all fairness and I'm not one of these that has been criticising him heavily recently, I just thought he was anonymous for large parts of the game bar a couple of tackles. Anyway, on to 3 easy points at the Emirates.
Very much agree! Everton are 4th, were the only team not to have lost to Chelsea and we have pretty much played the top half of the table with a defence savaged by injury! We enter an important period upto Christmas as we face lesser teams. Anything at Arsenal is a bonus and then Reading, Stoke, Southampton where we should be looking at 6 or 7 points.
Careful with that though 74. Rangers tend to get more out of the top sides - and under-perform against the minnows. (Nothing to do with Hughes though. Been happening for yonks.)

Hughes don't do championship football so he will walk at the end of the season anyway and the Hughes out brigade will finally get their wish......
Apologies if someone has mentioned this already (I've just got back from the match) but Alan Green (I think it was him) was categorical tonight on BBC 606 that he had been told by someone "high up" in QPR that if the team didn't win today or against Arsenal, there would be a change of manager. Unfortunately, the caller (Clint from Hammersmith) didn't follow up with questions but changed the subject to Serbia (the muppet!) so Green wasn't called on to elucidate.
On a different thread they have. As I said I can't see anybody setting arsenal away as a must win game to keep your job! If anything if would be reading / Southampton etc
Park did a good job stopping the Baines/Pienaar combo and was also getting in the box as well. That was his best game for us. We should have won, it was a nailed on pen and the ref bottled it.
The Park thing is getting tired, the bloke in front of me was only interested in abusing Taarabt all game and the bloke behind me was shouting abuse at Zamora. It doesnt even matter if they do well or not.
Last post before homeland: I thought they put it all in for their manager today, was having doubts about that. Looking forward to Arsenal
Tried to catch your eye today to say hi mate. That's very interesting coming from Green isn't it? I don't like the bloke much, but you would think he wouldn't stick his neck on the line like that unless he was sure!!
I reckon it's all bullsh/t. He's jumping on the bandwagon and pretending to be an ITK. Hughes is going nowhere.
