I know, I know but a strange man walks into a bar wearing a black baseball cap and a blue jacket you've just got to approach him. I was going to look down for the badge but that might of made the situation even more awkward regarding the first bloke. <whistle>

It all worked out well in the end as sku had a pocketful of 'Pins' and handed them out to anyone who didn't have one.

Good to catch up with everyone before the game in the Conningham, and I have to say I really enjoyed the match (the first time in ages I've been able to say that). Took a mate along whose a Aberdeen fan and he was most impressed by Hoillet, he thought he was head and shoulders above everyone else. My mate also persuaded me to do a Dons and Rangers double, which came in and paid for the evening too.

Derby must hate playing us - I could imagine the fat Ted Bovis from the play-off final crowd mouthing "****ing ****ers" again when that second goal went in.

And that was the best that they could find for Derby. Shots off target from 25 yards, a deflected free kick that sailed over, and a couple of soft efforts easily taken by Smithies. Says it all, really.

That's just ridiculous.
Rio Ferdinand was just about the best centre back in the World when he was in his prime. Superb on the ball and in the air and very quick.
He was a decent centre back in his prime, but best in the world???? I wouldn't agree with that. He wasn't good when he played with us.

That made me chuckle.....:emoticon-0100-smile

He should never have played for us.........everyone except fecking Kneecap knew that Ferdinand was finished and should never have been signed......

I couldn't get there last night. I was slightly off colour and couldn't face a 6 hour round trip. Just my luck to miss a good 'un.

Hoilett seemed to feature a lot in the Sky highlights (link above) - good on him - and Smithies looked very safe and confident. Terrific shot from Chery for the first goal, great skill, and nice to have a decent cross setting it up.

Is it our turn to lose on Saturday? :emoticon-0100-smile

Maybe it's just me, but no one's mentioned Michael Petrasso's performance when he came on last night. I can't recall him touching the ball once. :emoticon-0143-smirk

Never put a foot wrong.

Ha ha, I thought it was a strange decision to bring him on. I had my countdown timer on my phone for the four minutes added time and we had played 20 secs over that with Smithies about to take a goal kick. It was obvious the ref was going to blow up before the ball bounced.

I suppose he can say he's playing the youngster's though.

Many QPR fans on Twitter have been full of praise for the previously out-of-favour Junior Hoilett after his impressive display in the win over Derbyon Tuesday.

The winger was reintroduced to the side by Neil Warnock and current manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is an avowed fan of the Canada international.

Hoilett, who was among several stand-out players against Derby, is out of contract in the summer but many R’s supporters seem keen to see him stay at the club.

Darbee fans are an arrogant bunch of bleaters though...they really think their team is special but it's a just a club of perennial chokers!..done nothing as a club since the days of Todd n macfatland!

Hard to disagree Facta, but I believe the all time low PL points total deserves some recognition........

How good was Mackie when he came on? Game changer? Fall over much? Exhort the crowd at all? No chance of an injury, I suppose........

I'm keen to see him stay on 5% of the salary
