Loic Remy! 2-0! Game over!

Great goal, well taken - don't you love this (after 1st goal):-

Jose Mourinho is standing stony-faced in the rain as his side toil in search of a point. He does not look at all amused by the situation.

P.S. I had a feeling on this game, so for fun put $3 on Newcastle to win @ 11/2.

Now the R's have to do their bit, put in a decent display and 3 points thank you very much.....

COYR's

QPR XI: Green; Simpson, Dunne, Hill, Assou-Ekotto, Phillips, Jenas, Barton, Hoilett, Faurlin, Austin. #QPRvDER

Subs: Murphy; Traore, Johnson, Wright-Phillips, Onyewu, Chevanton, Henry. #QPRvDER

Derby XI: Grant, Wisdom, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth, Eustace, Hughes, Bryson, Ward, Dawkins, Martin. #QPRvDER

It will be interesting to see how the midfield is set up. Will Hoilett play behind Austin? Will Jenas and Faurlin play deeper with Barton ahead of them? Or will Faurlin play further forward? I'd like to see this:

----------------------------Green--------------------------
Simpson--------------Dunne---------Hill-----------------BAE
-------------------Jenas----------Faurlin-------------------
Hoilett---------------------Barton--------------------Phillips
-------------------------Austin----------------------------

Good side. I'd probably switch Jenas and Barton. I think that's been one of our main weaknesses when it comes to scoring goals - none of our central midfield players are goalscorers on a regular basis. And also have Hoilett and Philips the other way round.

Might Barton play wide(ish) right and Hoilett behind?

I like that team and the way you have set them up Col. But reading into what Harry said during the week I believe Hoilett will play in the "hole" behind Austin. Should give us better service with Barton on the right side too, like he did at the start of the season.

Hoilett may well play in behind with Barton on the right, but I don't like Barton out wide.
Swapping Jenas with Barton was what I was toying with too.

Hoilett often seems to be on the right so that he can cut in on his left foot, but I agree that I'd like them the other way round too.

So hoping my pusillanimous one-nil prediction will be shown up by a hatful of Rangers goals

We'll soon find out mate.
Maybe someone there could confirm the formation when they start?

It's just that I don't like Hoilett on the wing. I find him very little effective in that role, often running himself into blind alleys, much like SWP.

Yeah I can understand that. Austin also needs support so maybe Hoilett in behind will give him that.
