Fought we played well all game Tramore. But Hoilett and Barton squandered many good opportunities. And Redknapp takes off our best player. Unfathomable.

We must beat the Swans now.

Again Swords you watched a different game to me, 1st half we had no control, couldn't string 3 passes together, 2nd best in midfield, glad to get to ht level. Agree 2nd half we were better, but didn't create many chances. Fer did play well but see Beths post above about number of yellow cards.....

I'd take a point against Swans and a point at Burnley....

Aqualong, you'd be best advised to go back to page 3 and find out who was the only Geezer to praise our first half performance.

Who were you on the old Site? You have nearly 400 posts so you must have changed your name. That's a sly move when moving onto a brand new Site

Disagree with those that think Fer was the best player on the pitch. He frustrates me so much and keeps giving the ball away! Almost as annoying as Hoilett.

Defenders all deserve credit today. Charlie and Bobby worked hard but need crosses, not long floated balls.

Why or why was Barton taking all our set pieces?! He's SO AWFUL at them.

That makes zero sense. Take off the only player who looked like he could get you 3 points because he might miss the next game?

You and Betty must be on the glue today Tramo. That sh*t's insane

All in all, likely a fair result, especially since we almost lost it at the death.

For the number of set pieces we had in this match, we really didn't capitalize on that with Barton's continuous ball distribution. Sure, Joey delivers a few good ones (law of averages?), but so many end up wasted. Do we not have an alternative? Niko, not in squad today, generally delivers a good ball.

Fer had a couple of cracking volleys on target and Caulker was unlucky with his header cleared off the line. Vargas seemed somewhat out of sorts when he came in, perhaps due to role he was asked to play (as Charlie's OBZ foil). Zamora probably stayed on too long (75 mins) given his conditioning - he generally has around 60 mins in him.

I wished Joey had been pulled for Vargas.

Both defenses did well, Palarse are a bit taller back there and kept us at bay. Henry was MOM for me, he really tracked back well.
