If I was as good as he was, I think I'd be exactly the same.

Well I would think the bloke that told you he was a 'big headed prat' would think he was a prat simply because he was big headed.

Sorry, missed what you put. I still think the original comment was a bit stupid as you appear to just randomly throw in the word '****er' but, yes, whatever was said on your board probably wasn't very nice either and the bloke probably is a ****er.

That's what I'd go with, but Warnock will probably have Helguson and Derry in for Bothroyd and Mackie.

I was referring to the fella who posted on our board, looking back on my comment I can see it comes across differently! Apologies.

And yes the guy who posted on our board IS a ****er, it was a thuggish, contentious, imbelic comment and portrayed everything some of your fellow fans have said they hate our fans for.

Taarabt is struggling with a virus, so he may not start. If he was at his best you'd be right to be worried about him. Without him, we simply won't have anyone who can create that bit of magic!!
Northy...I'd go for that team, except I'd play HH up front instead of Betty and, possibly Hill instead of Hall.

Well he hasn't been as penetrative as last season but that's understandable given the jump from Champ to Prem. I wish you ****s good luck and hope it's a great game <grr>

Seriously it was an old lady (pensioner) a few years back was telling that she met Osgood, either at a function or fund raiser. we were talking about London and old days and of course i mentioned QPR, then she said "i met Peter Osgood once", she said and that she didn't like him "he was a 'Prat'", she said and a "big headed one at that". This coming from an old lady made me laugh.
Just goes to show away from football people can be muppets.

Sadly, the head rules the heart...

QPR 1 Chelsea 5

Barton - Drogba 2, Lampard, Miereles, Sturridge

Oh bollox, I've posted this on the wrong thread, I was checking the likely teams...

Norwich looking good at the moment, but so did Blackpool this time last year. Do we class Liverpool in the group of teams that it would be a miracle to get anything off? Lambert's future certainly looks interesting, and I doubt it will be with Norwich for long.

Faurlin: Rangers are ready for Chelsea

Alejandro Faurlin says QPR are ready for the daunting challenge of facing Chelsea.

Rangers are gearing up for their first league match against the Blues since 1996 and are 17/2 outsiders to win, with many expecting Sunday’s west London derby to be a very one-sided affair.

But midfielder Faurlin insists they are determined not to let their fans down.

“It will be tough and probably a lot of people don’t expect much from us, but I can tell you now that we are really motivated,” he declared.

“Every one of the players is looking forward to this. We have the massive support of the fans and we want a good performance and to get a good result. We want to make them proud.

“Before Fulham we were doing very well and playing some good stuff. We have to focus on playing again like we did then. We know we can do it.”

Warnock faces tough selection choices

The recent 6-0 defeat against Fulham was an ominous sign ahead of the local encounter that means much more to the R’s faithful than that game did.

Before the clash at Craven Cottage, Rangers boss Neil Warnock dismissed its significance as a derby, but he has assured supporters that he understands this weekend’s game is different.

Warnock also revealed that as well as a number of fans, the Mittal family have been quick to tell him how important it is.

“This is it. This is the game everyone has been looking to,” said Warnock.

“And it’s the game Amit Bhatia and his family have been on about the most. It means a lot to them, this one.”

For Faurlin, whose move to Loftus Road triggered the FA hearing it was feared might cost QPR promotion, the encounter with Chelsea will be one to savour for obvious reasons.

“These are the games every player wants to play in and I am excited,” said the Argentine.

“Six months ago I was inside Wembley Stadium and it was like I’d murdered someone, standing there saying ‘I will tell the truth and the whole truth.’”

From the Friday press conference!
=======================
"And Warnock has laid praise on the 34 year-old Blues chief, adding: "I think that he's already shown that he's a brave Manager.

"He won things with Porto. You might say it's only in Portugal but you've still got to win things with what's in front of you and the tools that you've got.

He knows that he's got some fabulous tools at Chelsea" <laugh>
