Next season is probably going to be the most exciting championship season, with Villa, Newcastle and possibly Palace in the league...

And we're sitting it out. #RolandOut. Gone down with a whimper, not with a bang

First half ruined it - started to attack far too late. Rotherham were the complete opposite and confirm survival.

The worst thing is, there is nothing to numb. If it weren't for the laughs I get off this forum, I wouldn't be using it as I don't care for Charlton much these days (I do)

Horrible ain't it? Crazy how quickly they've alienated the majority of the fan base. This could take years to sort out - I was more confident of bouncing back when we were last relegated, despite not having a pot to piss in.

Just back from Loftus Road, and another dispiriting afternoon.

Our end was far from full - in fact the worst following I have seen us take to QPR. A sure sign the faithful are giving up.

First half we were far too slow and lethargic, with only Cousins troubling the QPR keeper.

Riga must have passed on the Rotherham and Bristol City scores to the team at half time, because we finally went for it, and the game became wide open and end to end. Pope made a couple of top class saves to keep us in it, before Cousins prompted false hope with a lovely curling finish for 1-1. After that it was all us, with Igor missing an absolute sitter at the end and Harriott lacking composure, blasting his follow up over the bar. Mak was his usual inept lumbering self - jeered when he came on for Sanogo- and Riga left it far too late bringing Jackson on. Lookman played out wide and looked what he is- a boy with talent but with a lot of filling out to do.

Their last gasp winner wasn't a cruel blow at all. We are where we deserve to be. If you start a Championship season with a clown like Luzon in the dug out, and a mixture of raw kids (KAG) and sh1t foreigners like Mak in your starting 11, you get relegated. Replacing Luzon with Fraeye sealed our fate, as did the very poor January transfer window and getting Yes Man Riga, rather than Warnock.

Personally I will be concentrating on the aways next season.

    Player ratings:

Pope - 8 - kept us in it, two top class saves second half.

    Solly - 6 - steady

Fox - 3 - undefended cross from his side for their 1st goal, too many errors.

Tex - 6 - played up front at the end

Fanni- 6 - no idea why he had gloves on, my i watch said it was 13 degrees FFS

Cousins - 8 - tireless, good goal, won;'t be here much longer so enjoy him now

Diarra - 8 - excellent, POTY in a normal season

    Harriott - 5 - "frustrating"

    Lookman - 5 - boy doing a man's job out wide

Igor - 5 - if that fella is fit, I am Jeremy Corbyn's civil partner

    Makienok - 3 - just 5 games more .....please....

Totally avoidable. It didn't even need a footballing Einstein to avoid this. Simple common sense, and listening to advice from experienced people in the club. But Roland doesn't do faliure, merely stupidity. In any other organisation, the CEO would walk or be pushed now. Her continuing presence suggests something beyond a mere working relationship. But who cares. If she goes, another drone comes in for A2C to worship. He must be happy about how these people have gotten on with their job dahn our gaff.
