Doughty is a good footballer.
Lua Lua hasn't looked like he knows what sport he is playing in his brief sub appearances. Makes sense to rest Manning. Not sure about Mackie.
Nice to see Doughty get a chance. Manning and Mackie don't deserved to be dropped. It only makes sense if they are being rested.
Yeah it's a rest rather than for their performances. Again though he's not given Shodipo a chance. I don't see why Lua Lua will be more effective. Hopefully I'm proved wrong.
Scandalous decision,unless they're carrying knocks. How can you leave our best 2 players over the last 4 games out. We're at home to Burton and need to win,play your strongest eleven ffs. You can change and rest players away at Newcastle on Wednesday,when we won't probably get anything anyway ! I'm fuming,i need us to win 2-0 or 2-1 for a correct score treble,cheers Ollie !
Or play the team(s) that give you the best possible chance of getting a win today and something at Newcastle? I'd be pissed off if I traipsed up there midweek to see a reserve team.
Doughty should be on a par with Manning. Lua should be better going forward than Mackie. There's logic to it.
Can someone please tell me what Luongo has done exactly,to never be left out ? 6000 appearances and 0 goals,his shooting is as bad as Gladwin's !
Most tackles in the league, covers a lot of ground. Not often been at his best for us but at Reading he was excellent.
Agree. He has good skills and creates a bit too. But he is way past his score by date. Get 1 and hopefully he'll get a few.
Scored goals for Swindon and Australia,so to have not scored a single goal for us something is patently wrong. Are we not using him in his best position,or has his confidence infront of goal totally evaporated ?
