We maintain a tight defensive record - hopefully some goals with come under the lights on Tuesday against Brighton.

will never be a goalfest without a recognised striker but we definitely sounded well organised. Sandro seemed to be doing a lot of good work in the midfield. If we keep charlie and bring a quality striker in during the window we should manage the play offs. The positive for me was the defence. Interested to hear from anyone that went today.

Burton haven't missed a beat without Jimmy, uncharacteristically scoring 3 goals at Gillingham (2 really late ones)

BBC match report - does this quote actually apply to us? I note Burnley made no substitutions.

"But the Championship's leading goalscorers at home in 2015-16 could not find a way past visiting goalkeeper Tom Heaton"

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's first match as QPR manager ended in a goalless draw against Burnley at Loftus Road.

Former Leeds, Chelsea and Netherlands striker Hasselbaink wasappointed as Chris Ramsey's successor on 4 December.

QPR, who were looking for a third successive victory, went close through Matt Phillips, James Perch and Leroy Fer in a promising first-half display.

Defender Grant Hall's effort was cleared off the line by Burnley's Scott Arfield in stoppage time.

Burnley, who have now gone five games without a win, improved after the break but could not break the deadlock.

Sam Vokes sent two second-half headers off target as their disappointing run of results continued.

That sequence has seen Sean Dyche's side slip down to fifth in the table and they are five points from an automatic promotion spot following their stalemate in west London.

Hasselbaink, 43, left League One leaders Burton to take charge of QPR and watched an encouraging performance from his new side against a Burnley team that, like Rangers, was relegated from the Premier League last season.

But the Championship's leading goalscorers at home in 2015-16 could not find a way past visiting goalkeeper Tom Heaton, despite the introduction of ex-Burnley forward Charlie Austin from the bench with an hour played.

To be fair if they have any sense they will still be down the pub talking to other QPR fans in real life.

A draw was probably the right result - we dominated the first half, but they had the better of the second. Henry was very good in the first half, playing mostly wide right, but wasted a very good chance in the second half when set up by Austin after the move of the match. Overall a solid performance but not much to get excited about. Sandro my MOM.

we pressed well first half burnley didn't get the chance to play, playing long balls over the top hoping that they could out pace us without giving us too many problems. Too many balls to Phillips up front which are to his chest with his back to goal not giving him the chance to run at goal would like to see it more to his feet or pushed past him to run on to. Ale was excellent again along with Sandro defence did their job, attack didn't seem to have many ideas always one touch or step over too many. Early pressing tired us out which let burnley back into it but on the whole a fairly even contest but going on chances we should have taken the points.

From my lofty position in SAR, We had the better of The 1st half with Phillips working hard and Faulin having a lot of the
ball, Sandro, Hoillett and even Henry playing well, 2nd half all change, Burnley had most of the play but henry had a great chance to give us the lead, all things considered not a bad point, roll on Tuesday

Well done to Bournemouth, another big scalp, back to back after Chelsea, and it could have been by more if Glenn Murray had finished a couple of good goal scoring opportunities. Man Utd defence was abysmal - hope van Gaal took lots of notes in that big book of his. Harry was in attendance.

    Thought we were crap tbh.

Henry on the right wing FFS. Perch and Konchesky are both crap when we have considerably better options. Hoilett couldn't beat an egg- just passes it inside and backwards.

Positives- centre-halves were solid and Phillips occasionally looked like doing something.

Even you as Henry's biggest fan surely can't justify his inclusion on the wing

we played well first half - everyone played ok and put a shift in
    defence played well 2nd half
everyone else ran out of steam
karlos henry got lost 2nd half after an OK first half but we have so many better options when we are trying to win !!
charlie has given up / is injured
    jet surprisingly did little
    decent championship game
Burnley were the best side we have seen at home this season until Tuesday
Joey was the fittest player on the pitch
their 2 full backs had our players in their pockets
