I think he means he was involved in both Weimann goals (which he was) but by fantasy league definitions no he didn’t get any assists

Dreadful game but a result which hopefully will bring a bit of confidence......(must admit both sides looked poor) all that mattered was our first 3 points!

So Gary is out of a job at Cheltenham and so early in the season to really get the point of the dismissal. I find it difficult to accept such an early departure but then again I don't own the club. Will Steve McLaren be next?

Why does Lee bother to put on Eisa for about 2 minutes in a match well won by that time and will the young man suffer the usual bench sitting and not get much time on the pitch.

Yeah I don't want to get carried away here. We were still a bit crap, just a lot less crap than QPR. The first half was abysmal but luckily second half we ground out a result. I'd like to be positive but unfortunately it was more due to QPR's rubbishness than our skill - if we continually play like that I think we'd be no higher than lower mid table.

The ‘quality’ of that game reminded me of the Bolton away game last season - the ball was in the air most of the time. Whether that was down to QPR tactics or simply both sides being crap I don’t know.
We were slightly better overall, but QPR squandered 2 good chances including an open goal.
    Still, 3 welcome away points.

FANTASTIC 3 points ….but let us not get carried away they are bottom of the league they have managed to score twice, [consolation against WBA and first goal losing 2-1 ] but now have conceded 13!
Bolton put one over on WBA drew with us lost to Leeds and beat Reading .. beat Brum tonight and they will be top [jt]… purple streak ?
    LOST Midds = expected
Drew Florest never put much credence in first games, Florest now top 8 [ jt ]
we are now [ 11th -13th ] mid table and need to prepare as fans for the hardest month of our season next 6 games are a very very very difficult 18 points to play for …. I for one will be happy with 8 of them!

He's much better at Left back than Johnson trying to put him at centre back, funnily enough Pisano done ok at CB last night, albeit QPR were piss poor, **** team, but Weimann looks a great signing at two million.

Very pleased with the result and the first win of the season, but as BCFC Bob says we were a bit crap and could easily have been a goal or more behind before Taylor got the opener.

I think the result flatters us and does QPR no favours either. Given that they can only sign loan players they could be a bottom 3 contender at this rate as they looked woeful.

Both teams will face much tougher opposition than each other for the remainder of the season.
