He makes an interesting point about Onuoha being better when being tasked with nullifying one individual. I remember when Paul Parker used to be assigned every week to man-mark the opposition's most dangerous forward and he would invariably play him out of the game. Perhaps this is indeed the best way to use Ned?
Nice video Oslo, but what criteria do the club use to pick their MOTM ? .....most posters on here who were at the match are split between Luongo or Ariel as MOTM so how does Sylla pick up the prize?
Not sure mate, though I have a idea it's the players. I read some ratings that had Sylla MOM or one of them.
Wasn't it Washington who hit the bar? But for the deflection it was in and his rating would have been much higher.
Parker was immense, a joy to watch and so reliable. Loved it when he finally scored a goal, the 6th against Luton if I remember right!
Luongo is in terrific form, and he's exactly the box to box midfielder we've been crying out for in the past few seasons. Alex Smithies is playing superbly and quite frankly should be a shoe in for Player of the Year. Was uplifting to read JFH's comments on Shodipo that he needs time to develop and how he'll be carefully managed.
Well, the tat has arrived. The badge is horrible, a huge thing made of metal but somehow it feels like plastic. The pin on mine was bent when I took it out of the box. The DT/Sku Badge is infinitely better in terms of both design and quality. I'm going to keep this one in a drawer in its box and put it on eBay when we are European champions, if I'm still alive. I'm sure DT showed Hoos his badge when he met him and he must have thought 'ooh, that's good, I'll do that'. As always with QPR, poor implementation. The most notable thing about the journal is the Limited Edition stamped all over it. Still it will be a talking point when I get it out a business meetings to make notes I will never refer back to.
My advice would be to scoop it all up and throw it in the bin. It will save you having to do it in five years time.
Im thinking of taking a marker pen into the next match (blue of course) and writing my name on my seat. Do you think that would work as a protest
