I don't know if it will make any difference, but Luongo would have been returning from the Middle East & not Australia. That would make a big differnece to travelling time etc.

The second game was away to UAE wasn't it?

That's true Terry. UAE is still a 7 hour flight.
 
if he could travel back from here and play then so can luongo
not like he will be travelling cattle class
pity it was only a few months fingy
he did more for us in that time than most of the players who saw out their contracts
I agree. Just a shame he abandoned ship so soon for greener pastures.

Two wingers, Cousins and Henry defensive midfield, Onuoha and Hall as centre backs.

All good stuff, but it begs the question of what happened to Caulker and Sandro.
 
Just seen Ngbakoto has returned to France,due to the death of his father. Sad news and my sympathies go to him and his family.
 
Yani missing due to family bereavement.
Not sure why Sandro isn't in the squad or why Caulker is on the bench.
