MATCH PREVIEW: QPR V ARSENAL
A LONDON derby under the Loftus Road lights awaits QPR tonight, as the Hoops play host to Arsenal in the Barclays Premier League.

After spending last week in Dubai for warm-weather training, Chris Ramsey’s charges return to competitive action with a tough test against Arsene Wenger’s side in W12.

The Gunners – despite succumbing to a shock 3-1 defeat at home to Monaco in the last 16 of the Champions League last week – have won six of their last seven Premier League games, and are chasing a fourth consecutive top-flight win.

They are hoping to record back-to-back Premier League away wins for the first time this season. Their first five away victories were followed by defeat in their next game on the road.

QPR, meanwhile, are expected to recall midfielder Sandro for the visit of Wenger’s men.

The Brazilian international has been sidelined with a knee injury since late November, but is now fit to return to action in the heart of the R’s midfield engine-room.

Defensive duo Nedum Onuoha (hamstring) and Mauricio Isla (knee) are both nearing a return, but Adel Taarabt is out with a niggling groin injury.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is available after three weeks out with a hamstring injury, whilst Francis Coquelin could play despite fracturing his nose in Sunday’s 2-0 victory against Everton at the Emirates.

However, Jack Wilshere, Mathieu Debuchy, Mathieu Flamini and Abou Diaby remain out.

Alexis Sanchez

Chile international striker Alexis Sanchez joined Arsenal in July 2014.

The exciting forward signed from Barcelona, where he made a total of 88 appearances and scored 39 goals during his three seasons with the Catalan side.

With Barcelona, Sanchez won both La Liga (2012/13) and the Copa del Rey (2012), as well as the Spanish Super Cup on two occasions (2011, 2013), the UEFA Super Cup (2011) and the FIFA Club World Cup (2011).

Unsurprisingly, he's made a typically fast start to life at the Emirates, bagging 18 goals in 37 appearances so far in all competitions for Arsene Wenger's side.

Still 700 tickets left for tonights game and 1000 for Spurs. Looks like neither Gooners or Spurs are taking the Lower School End.

Their team looks strong even before mentioning Ramsay and Wellbeck. Henry and Sandro are going to need to play blinders tonight

It's probably suicidal against that midfield, but I think we may go 4-4-2 and let OBZ and Austin have a go at their CBs. I would prefer Taarbs, Zarate or Kranky giving Coquelin the runaround, they are very dependent on the performance of their one defensive midfielder, him or Flamini. Got to have a go for this one.

Agree we've got to have a go. If we can get them on the back foot, perhaps nick an early goal... But we don't want to open up and risk being spanked. Could come down to goal difference in May

Looking forward to an evening game at home for a change - seem to have had them all away for some reason so far.

Coming straight from work - so C&S is too far out of the way for me, but should be in the Conningham early enough if anyone else is about.

Am eagerly anticipating this game and especially a good team performance. Also hopefully Kevin is indeed our Friend tonight.

What the ****'s happened on the A40? Snail pace from Hiilingdon, 30 minutes and not even at Target.....danger, danger, pint at risk
