GODDAMN what result, the guys played as a team for the first time, and did the impossible. MotM for the whole 11, and openers for Taarabt + Diakite, more good to come... <cheers>

bring on ManUre, make my prediction come true <hug>

Just goes to show when you're in the **** you've got to have a good paddle

I think Villa are being drawn into this now

will have to rapidly revise upwards points needed for safety

Best performance of the season, no real weak spots, Zamora, Derry, Diakite top class. 6 points out of the last 9, 21 still to play for, we will do this..

I agree, Villa have got to be getting a bit worried now. I still think they'll squeak survival though.

Agree about performance, can't fault it.
Isn't it just our luck that the others are finding form at this time too?
    What a bummer.

Amazing performance, chuffed for you guys that the team are repaying your support of them with a performance like that. Surely they'll feel they can beat anyone now? What a relegation race it's going to be, 3 teams all putting foot to the gas today.
Its going to get emotional before its done!

Congrats again, starting to feel 39pts not quite a guarantee of safety yet:)

Diakite motm for me, what a cool finish. Barton did ok too. Zamora had his hardest working game for us too. I loved the way we bullied them and never let them settle

You cant really be dissatisfied with any performance today. Even the ref.

For me, he performed as well as anybody. First class save from RVP when one-on-one.

Me too, and that was a great save. I don't think Paddy is a real top class keeper, but heis the best we have. Flyer has been outspoken in his criticism, so was fishing for some kind of short term apology....

he played ok and made a couple of saves which meant we won, if he played like he did for the last dozen games (liverpool excepted) then we would have lost.
    Still not convinced though.

You will have no chance, 2 decent games out of 12 is still terrible. I dont flip flop every game, I take the long term view.

If a poll shows up for MOTM, there better be an option for entire side - I couldn't pick just one. Liverpool and now the gunners - makes you wonder where they were for so many matches this year

Was really impressed by Diakite in the game today - very strong on the ball and sensible play for the most part - also a great goal!

Too bad about the other results, but we just have to keep winning - too bad Man City got back into their game - would be great if they had nothing to play for come the last day of the season.

Fair enough mate, just fishing. He doesn't inspire confidence in me either, but perhaps this performance will set him up for the last 7....
One thing that is worrying is another 5 yellow cards - hopefully no one is in suspension zone, but a couple must be close.
