Has to be the most enjoyable game I've seen in a long time, Good stream, better players, great goals.

442 has to be the new 451 at home.

Thought that O'Neil played an important role last night definite change of pace when he went off, Glad Hoilett got a goal, I think he really needed that.

Good Job.

I forgot O'Neil was on the pitch for the majority of the game

Clear Pen I agree but disagree that our passing was ****e ... It wasn't up to our standard of late but won through against a team that can pass very well
Bournemouth need a few more players and then they are a crisp side

Can't see any negatives and 3 goals for a change went in

Fans are getting confused because we at times make it look easy and look relaxed ... Exactly what a good side does ... There is no place for running around like headless chickens

We were patient without the ball and won it back well against a good passing side not alike Brighton

I can't find fault with much at all and was grateful to watch a controlled game by us as Bournemouth pressured us quickly when we had it

Defusing those teams is not easy and can't understand posters who look for niggles

We will need to totally implode to lose this title ... Oh that's a worry isn't it ?

Grow a pair

Support a lot better last night but still we are not doing enough at a crowd IMO ... Why? .... We are still sick in the habit of looking for faults

We are top of the league because we are a very good solid side with real depth

Fans who moan IMO have no right to celebrate when success comes and I am certain it will... Take the buzz we all get before a match and sustain it

I am back and now awake.

Quick synopsis from last night from R block

Felt we were well in control, agree with Oddball on this, fully in control...and eventually it showed.
Defence excellent...impressed with Dunne after the small tricky forward was brought on after 65 minutes...he kept him well in place...not sure how but he did

Carroll was excellent...two absolutely peerless passes to the forwards running the channels (one to AJ, one to Junior)
So busy, so active (Joeys Gopher)

Joey got rattled, rightly...but held it together

AJ was a lot of trouble and excellent

Soooooooooooooooooooo impressed with Austin, he was everywhere, worked so hard.

Hoillet a lot of trouble, but suffers from the SWP problem, excellent until the last pass/shot.
His goal was infront of the guy lying in the goal, but still crept in. Have no idea how it went in

Good controlled performance...quietly impressive, exactly what we needed

And the other matches went for us too...
Roll on Blackburn...I am off travelling for work...so see you all at Leicester

Come on u RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRs

Can all you neggo's please take note of two excellent posts and get behind your team and support them stop the moaning or buy a rope. Alternatively do as Dave say's ..........In bold above!

Who're the neggo's ?

Here's one for you col, saints 77% possession and lose 3-2.

Possession in an incredibly false stat, I wish they had a possession in the final third like they do in hockey which gives a true indication of how the game went.

Can you come up with a stat for how many games have been lost by a side with over 70% possession. Not many I'd guess.

Barca celtic.

Then again most times that huge possession will walls lead to most possession in the final third as well. That not necessarily true with games where its 5x against 4x possession.

So that will be a no then.

But not with 51 49 games which is what you were suggesting referring to Bournemouth having more of the ball against us.

I simply was pointing out that when you play 4-4-2 the opposition are far more likely to have more of the ball and more efforts on goal, corners etc.

I agree and more possession in the final third whereas playing one up front will result in more overall possession but less in the final third which is why overall possession can be misleading unless its a landslide.

It's the Swansea syndrome. Under Rogers they had phenomenal possession and passing stats, but it was meaningless because it was mostly sideways and backwards. We have been similar at times.

51:49 is not a great example as its virtually even.

I know but it was col pointing out they had more possession.

Even up to 60%, it doesn't necessarily mean one side dominated, just that they couldn't penetrate the final third.

As above, the Swansea syndrome is an example where they could have 65% of the ball but it would be in their own half.
