    Is he worth £5mil?

    Yes.

Is he better than your current selection?

    Yes.

Should he really be playing in the Champions League?

    Yes.

I'd heard he was going to snub you for PSG and Carlo<ok>

Would be a great signing and, word is, he wants to stay in the area as his family is settled here!

Not Ivanovic and on form probably not JT, but I'd agree with the rest <ok>

    He needs games

He's had a poor season with lots of errors (more than Luis) but has been a very good CB for Chelsea. He is definitely a Prem standard player, so I suggest he goes to Fulham not QPR, the Cottage will match his ambition

The WBA game in particular he was shaky and the CC game against Fulham he had a mare, not been one of the best years for him but he has been a solid CB for us for so long and will leave the Bridge with fond memories.

Fulham would be ideal particularly with Senderos looking shaky and the fact Hughes seems to have fallen out of favour but I'm not sure Jol is keen.

I still think he could go to a Serie A giant, he can still offer a lot at the top level and should be playing CL football IMO. Wherever he goes he'll have my best regards <ok>

He won't be getting CL football at Chels anyway.
Unless he joins Man U, Man C, Liverpool or Arsenal.

Heard on Radio that Chelski had excepted our Bid and it was now down to the player to decide where he was going!

What's that got to do with Kiwiqpr's question? He asked if he was any good and I explained that he was, probably too good for a team in your current position, therefore sign him if you can.

A cheap shot mate, get back in your box.

As for the rest of you banging on about our CL place next season, you may want to turn your attentions to your own plight as residents in this league before slating us.

Bottom three tonight, and the Toon await...

Apparently, ie according to the BBC, the fee is nearly agreed but there may be reluctance from Alex as he may not want to stay in the UK<ok>

whilst Alex would be a quality signing in our defence, I have a feeling that he will get other offers from abroad and will not appear in the blue and white hooped shirt. I would prefer Chris Samba (who I feel will also go abroad), Scottie Dann and Liam Ridgewell.
