To be honest Union Jack, I really rate Williams, both our defences performed very well throughout last season so would think he would be a great addition for us but not essential, our real priority should be a striker. You hit upon the reason that this deal will never happen by simply saying 'I hope Ash wouldn't want to go to a team in seemingly disaray' Simply put it would seem that we will start next season with little or no new faces. I feel that as earlier stated his agent is trying to get him a better pay day.
You lot talking beer has made me check the fridge, glad to see there are two bottles of Crona sitting there. Not for too long mind!! Raise a glass and toast The Mighty Swans!!!
Don't get me wrong Hoopy, I'm not happy that you're in disaray, I just hope that it'll stop us loosing one of our best players. I hope that you come out of this bad patch and well. In fact I hope that all us teams promoted do well, I don't think it'll work out like that though.
What a joke. Williams wouldn't move to a club who at the moment certainly has less ambition that ours, plus look to be losing their best player and manager
Can't see this one happening, for one simple reason, the QPR board will not meet our asking price, hell they couldn't beat us on Graham!.............. please log in to view this image
why would we sell at that price? no matter who offers it, think it will cost 3 times as much to replace him, so there is no way this is a goer, and no way that qpr will pay £6m for him.
From interviews i've seen with Ash over the past couple of weeks it sounds as if he has no intentions of leaving but these days you can never tell if and when a better offer comes along.
its that scumbag Moralee. It seems Ash is a bit cleverer than young Taylor (and lets face it ... we were all young once). I belive he's going nowhere and the first move Ash will make is for a new agent. Then we better watch out, he will be off.....but the Swans will get proper dollar!!
I don't think the Williams story is true. From what I can see it's only a few Swans sites that have the story. They are probably just trying to get visitors to their sites. And a dumb story certainly sends the fans there.
what i meant to say was its the middle of winter here, cold nights getting down to 5-7 degrees and only getting to 22 degrees during the day
air show here at the moment and the weather is holding its own i bet when the red arrows do their bit at about 4:30pm it will piss down and cloud over.....hope not though.
My only concern is that Ash signed his contract while we were in the Chamionship...... Could well have a release clause and if bigger clubs get wind of it then we may have a problem... Not worried about QPR's interest though...
