Hughes won't substitute for a long while as we only have one left after two going off injured. Not happy with Mackie on when Johnson got hurt, he tries but the quality just isn't there.

Faurlin has been superb, looks fully recovered.

I think it's been OK. In face, our best half of football this season.

The work rate is fantastic and Faurlin and Granero stick pretty close together although looked like they need a 15 min break.

    Cesar looks the part.

Keep it tight and scrappy for the first 5 mins of the second half and take it from there.

I'm not quite sure about Granero long passes. I think he would be better up front. And I don't fancy this 4-4-2. There is no real connection between the lines. But on the other side Chelsea didn't have great half also. Maybe ref is on our side just a little bit.

With great play, we seem to keep lining up Park to take shots on goal, which is not really his role.

Thought we played pretty decent 2nd half. Can't understand why Mackie is getting the nod over Adel or Hoilett. Adel must be fuming, he isn't playing at all!

Much improved performance. Looking much more like a team now. Some good performances and a result we would all have been happy with. Chelski lose 100% record to us :)
Only downside was the number of injuries, I'm sure MH will be concerned.

I can understand why MH doesn't play Adel against the good teams. While he might create a chance or two, he could leave us exposed and we'd get absolutely punished. Hoilett I'm not sure.

Great performances all round. Nelsen was incredible, destroyed Torres.

Yes, we played really well, good team effort, a clean sheet (Hail Cesar!). All in all, a good result - would love to have nicked it, hated to have lost, but on the balance of play, a fair result.

Thank goodness Mackie was on as I dont see Adel covering at right back.

Mackie was probably brought on for his willingness to chase and harry opponents all over the pitch and is good defensive cover.

Things lloked good excited about how ell Granero and Faurlin will develop together.

Adel can't buy a game! Surely hoilett can have done the job SWP did?

Churlish to look a point against European champions in the mouth though

Liverpool to get stuffed at Sunderland and it's a Saturday night out if the bottom 3 (technically)

The two week break has helped. Good defensive shape when we lost posession and Granero/ Ali looked confident on the ball.
Really quite pleased with the performance overall. Urrrrrrs

SWP seems to be improving at last, thought he was decent enough today all things considered.

Shame about all the injuries, not sure what was wrong with Johnson but Anton's hamstring looked bad.

It seems Johnson's is a serious knee injury.
