Your a cynical man, Sooper <laugh>

Teams can be encouraged by Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Sunderland's performances there though.

Going to City now is a lot less daunting than it would have been a few months ago <ok>

We'll beat United 4-1 and lose to Swansea on the Wednesday. It's the 'QPR way'.

We may not beat United 4-1 but we may expend so much energy that beating Swansea just 3 days later becomes much more difficult. Look at the hangover we had after the Liverpool game when we had to put in another mega performance at Sunderland without sufficient time to recover from the previous game. Unfortunately, we can't afford to soft pedal against United, even if we wanted to, otherwise they will murder our precious goal difference.

I saw Tottenham versus Swansea on Match of the Day last night and both sides looked impressive. However, if we have the enegrgy to replicate our performance against Arsenal, we can achieve miracles.

    Swans or Rs?
Please don't reply both. Your persona is slipping, Dave Jesus

That's the way I see it - hopefully 37+ pts is enough to stay up, even if we have to play the GD card.

I've lost enough money in my time on 'favourites' to know it means very little.

I wouldn't mind this scenario but my nerves aren't up to needing a win at City

Has Jamie Pollock got a son playing there? Could be time to blood him if he has!

I think Villa could def fall into the mix , their run in is pretty tough.

For us i would say hopefully chelsea and Man City will have nothing to play for , along with Stoke, West Brom and swansea. Its just spurs that will probably still be fighting for something.

I don't expect anything from Saturday, but will be a bonus if we do get something. If we are outside the bottom 3 with 6 to go and Man utd out of the way i will be ecstatic.

I can't see it. Chelsea will still be chasing top 4 and Man City will have pride to play for and want to end the season on a high. Every league position is up for grabs so I don't see any team going on holiday.

Wrong. Mancini is a dead man walking as they will have lost the league well before then, he has lost the dressing room and several of them (Dzeko, Balotelli, Tevez at least) will be leaving the club, they are fighting each other in public and private - meltdown underway. Hart, Barry, Richards, Lescott, Johnson, Milner will be dreading injury pre Euros. Plus all their other Euro players. Chelsea even worse - di Matteo a warmed up corpse of a manager none of them respect, many of the aging squad on their last legs and many on their way before next year. Fat Frank, Cashley, Terry and Sturridge will be protecting themselves in order to play crap for England in the Ukraine, though we would be better off without any of them, thank God it will be the last tournament for the first three international failures. Granted Torres may be playing for a place in the Spanish squad. What do they care if Chelsea miss out on Champions League? Plus if they scrape past Benfica they will be in the midst of a humiliating thumping by Barca or Milan. Perfect time for us to play them, we will make them squeal like pigs.

And your signature is still taking up most of the screen.

I disagree on Chelsea. It's highly unlikely they'll be out of the running for the top four by the time we play there and the fans won't allow them to go easy on us nor will their delightful captain.

Pfft, Chelsea's the easiest game we have left <ok>

I was saying before the Liverpool match how the only teams we'd beaten at home were the 2 worst in the league.

Obviously that's changed now as Wigan are having a good run and you'd say Wolves were the worst in the league <ok>

Well I hope they play their dirty little hearts out and their fans back them to the full power of their voices and credit limits, we'll still make them squeal like pigs.

Sorry Watford, I know DL is sincere and neverendingly reasonable, and is very welcome etc etc, but frankly he gives me the creeps. Same with that Battersea Canary. Was just trying to goad him into a reaction, but don't think he will rise to it.

I'd say it's arguably the toughest game left unless City are still in with a shout at the end. What is in our favour is that in the fortnight before playing us, barring a hilarious defeat to Benfica, they play Spurs in the FA Cup, Arsenal away in the league and two matches against Barcelona or Milan as well as a potentially very important game against Newcastle a few days after we go there, so a few should be rested.
