Think it's more important we make sure the next permant manger isn't Ramsey
I don't see how we can move forward in any way now, including appointing a manager, until the FFP is either sorted or there is a long term legal strategy to challenge the Football League's decision in court. One thing that Hoddle said today at the end of the match, which resonated, was that now, the lawyers are the most important aspect of QPR's future. There's such huge uncertainty now, management decisions must surely be frozen. If TF starts making appointments before we know where this is going, we could get into more **** with unwanted contracts, compensation.
FFP is a minefield and i cannot see how we can get fined with all these changes and other clubs bending the rules.
Hopefully we can get FFP out of the way ASAP and sort things out properly.
TF has had 2 chances now if he cocks up this time he should step down. Harry was our 'Downfall' and although CR has tried, he was dealt a bad hand and somehow couldn't sort.
We will no doubt lose some of the players we like but TBH we really need a clean sweep at all levels.
Agree with all of that. The problem on FFP is that if we want to get this sorted quickly so we can move on and set in train the fundamental reorganisation that's clearly needed, we're dependent on the Football League agreeing a compromise. If they're difficult, then regardless whether we ultimately succeed in a court, as a club, the mess the delay creates could affect us for several seasons. This is the most crucial area for QPR and the fans now.
On Harry, it was interesting that Hoddle highlighted the totally inadequate pre-season and lack of players in the squad at that time (I think he said 13) as a major reason why we started the season on the wrong foot. That was surely down to Harry Redknapp.
Well I'm sorry, but there's no way that Ramsey can continue as manager after that debacle!!

Following today's debacle I think Ramsey should seriously consider returning to coaching duties (more likely assume the #2 spot under TS?) and we should try to bring in a new up & coming manager, in the mould of Eddie Howe, with some fresh ideas. Les must be wondering what he got himself into and Kevin Bond must be thankful he kept employed for the rest of our season.
That is the scenario that would keep me happy Kilburn. Unfortunately, the man is out of his depth but he may be of use on the training field. We would need to get rid of Bond which I think will happen. Apparently, Ramsey is a done deal so there is nothing any of us can do. With nearly 50% saying no to his appointment on here (before the relegation was confirmed) and 60% on LFW, the question is, have we ever appointed a Manager that so few of the fans want? I would imagine both Not606 and LFW represent a good cross section of the knowledgeable support and therefore are pretty accurate of sentiment.

Too late now. OK Ramsey goes. I have no idea who would want to replace him apart from lower league managers. Warburton will only come if there is no Director of Football, so Ferdinand has to go too. (fine with me, worst appointment of the lot). Clement may fancy the opportunity to practice being number one out of the limelight, but he has no experience of either being a manager or the Championship.
Given this is QPR, we'll sack Ramsey or send him back to the academy after the Leicester game. Ferdinand will start sulking. We will remain in purgatory re FFP. We won't appoint a new manager for 6 weeks, and the it will be someone we will go either 'who????' or 'please no' (Phil Brown!) to. Lose the window (if we have any money to spend) and another 'poor pre season'.
I'll settle for mid table next year with (if we are lucky) a few promising looking lower league players brought in, and perhaps one or two like that Spanish (?) winger Brentford have.

Who to believe? If he was going to be appointed whether or not we go down, you might think an announcement would have been made already.
Maybe SSN know something we don't or maybe they have heard a rumour from a reliable source? God knows.
Most notiIceable for me was we had no right back, no striker on the Bench, no speed anywhere at CB, no decent wide man with Phillips needed further back, and no fit No10.
